My (African) wife has been shaving for the past 5 years. She has been totally bald, never even crew cut length, for that time without a break. If you feel drawn to do it then you must try it. It is too big an experience to pass up without trying it out. If you don't like the result then you can grow it back. But it can be an emotionally delicious experience for a woman and almost unbelievably emotionally freeing. A fully bald head makes a woman must less conventionally pretty but can make her much more deeply and interestingly beautiful. Going bald is a kind of emotional and spiritual striptease which is why so many bald women manifest extraordinary inner radiance. I never get over the excitement of sharing my life and my bed with someone who has such a thrillingly exciting and deeply beautiful look.

I used to have thigh length hair. In the past I have cut it to bob's and pixies and grown it out again to my hips and thighs because my friend's and family would have such hard opinions or think it's a phase. I feel like I've always been inching and inching my way to a shaved head and was scared of all the opinions. I finally got fed up with all the tangles, maintenance, neck pain from the weight, migraines, hundreds of dollars a month on products just to keep it healthy, for what? I HATED IT. So I finally took my brothers buzzer and lopped it all off. I've NEVER felt more beautiful, feminine, and HAPPY. I shut down opinions and have no regrets. I think everyone should make the jump at least once that way you can say you tried it and never have to regret that you didn't do it. It will grow out but you can say you did it whether or not you liked it
It honestly felt the same as any other hair cut, some day you look BOMB some days you feel meh. But the important part is hair grows back!l made this video two years ago and my hair is back just as long as it was before and I’m considering another cut hahahaha

I am an old woman with short, short white hair. It almost looks like it was shaved and the color at the roots is a beautiful white color, not grey or yellow. I have thought about shaving it too because I don’t like the feel of hair on my neck or face. It really should not be anyone’s business as to what a woman does with her hair. I love having my hair short, I used to cut my hair all the time, I went through the short hair Rihanna phase in high school for awhile and when I finally big chopped I loved it, I miss it, I haven't cut my hair in about 5 years now and I love my hair now too but God I wish I knew how addicted I'd be to keeping my hair short, every once in awhile I get this intense need to completely shave it off.

I’ve gone bald before and I got so many compliments, I’ve grown it out to about 16 inches and the maintenance is just too much and I live in south USA so I’m constantly overheating. I think I’m going to shave it again and be unique and different in my own way😭♥️

Oh my gosh, 2:58. When I shaved for the first time, a person I worked with asked if I was going to wear make up now. I asked why? and they said so I don't get mistaken for a boy. And it was really weird working out for the first few times because I thought I was sweating a lot more but then I realised it was just because the sweat didn't have any hair to hide in.

I know you posted this a long time ago and your hair will now be shoulder length lol but you look beautiful here, so stylish and glamorous but edgy at the same time. I have a long bob where the back is thick and in good condition but the sides are thinner and wispy due to having prebonded extensions for er.. ten years. It's bleached platinum blonde and I wear it up not to show the fact my hair is a tad weird in places and people compliment the colour and style..and it actually looks better than the extensions. Men look at me just as much(not that it matters). I am so much more comfortable not to mention saving a fortune . My sexy secretary 'do looks nicer and more feminine than all those bonded strands matted and in my face, weighing me down and thinking about it,I don't want other women's hair attached to my head. Other women with no money forced to hack off their precious locks. It's not ethical and when I think about it properly, it's kind of gross. You wanted you make a change in your life, you don't need to justify yourself to anyone. It's natural to have jitters. I got anxious at times when I removed my extensions, ten years is a long comfort blanket after all. But I don't regret. I sleep better, I feel, better. I feel sorry for women who think they need other women's hair taped to their head to look attractive. Men don't like it either, they can't run their fingers through their girls hair. Shorter hair suits women with sculpted faces like yours, you have great cheekbones, on point make up, confident and elegant. You look fierce, never doubt yourself xx

You are absolutely gorgeous and the hair cut shows off your beautiful features. I am 73 years old , have had short hair for most of my life, I recently shaved it, not to the scalp but pretty short and I love it. I don’t care if anyone else likes it, I do and that’s all that counts😊
i really really want to shave my head and everyone is very supportive except my mom. She keeps freaking out and saying it'd be "an act of agression against" her.
im 20 and i've been wanting this since forever. The part im looking forward the most is going through different hair styles as it grows back.
The only reason I'm not shaving my head until graduation is because I could not fight the urge to tell someone (in response to them asking why I cut it): "I just went through the second round of chemo." Especially teachers, they are nosy, and I don't think they'd like the reply. Such a stupid question though, honestly!
I am an old woman with short, short white hair. It almost looks like it was shaved and the color at the roots is a beautiful white color, not grey or yellow. I have thought about shaving it too because I don’t like the feel of hair on my neck or face. It really should not be anyone’s business as to what a woman does with her hair. That is more power to us as women, I say! You look great with short hair too!

I was absolutely popping! So mad about it hahahaha. But like I said, hair grows back and I actually ended up getting a WORSE cut where this lady shaved a bald patch into the side of my head hhahah
I love having my hair short, I used to cut my hair all the time, I went through the short hair Rihanna phase in high school for awhile and when I finally big chopped I loved it, I miss it, I haven't cut my hair in about 5 years now and I love my hair now too but God I wish I knew how addicted I'd be to keeping my hair short, every once in awhile I get this intense need to completely shave it off.
For a guy you gotta shave it off every 3 days to maintain that clean look. It's freaking annoying. I shaved it cause I was balding but now I'm just not cutting it. It's just a pain in the ass

Oh my gosh, 2:58. When I shaved for the first time, a person I worked with asked if I was going to wear make up now. I asked why? and they said so I don't get mistaken for a boy.
And it was really weird working out for the first few times because I thought I was sweating a lot more but then I realised it was just because the sweat didn't have any hair to hide in.

A guy in my class said 'I remember when u used to be pretty' and my dad said I'm not pretty no mo. When I started embracing my 'ugliness' and called myself Mama Ross, I just didn't give a shit anymore 😂😂😂

I have a long bob where the back is thick and in good condition but the sides are thinner and wispy due to having prebonded extensions for er.. ten years.
It's bleached platinum blonde and I wear it up not to show the fact my hair is a tad weird in places and people compliment the colour and style..and it actually looks better than the extensions.
Men look at me just as much(not that it matters). I am so much more comfortable not to mention saving a fortune . My sexy secretary 'do looks nicer and more feminine than all those bonded strands matted and in my face, weighing me down and thinking about it,I don't want other women's hair attached to my head. Other women with no money forced to hack off their precious locks. It's not ethical and when I think about it properly, it's kind of gross.
You wanted you make a change in your life, you don't need to justify yourself to anyone. It's natural to have jitters. I got anxious at times when I removed my extensions, ten years is a long comfort blanket after all. But I don't regret. I sleep better, I feel, better. I feel sorry for women who think they need other women's hair taped to their head to look attractive. Men don't like it either, they can't run their fingers through their girls hair.
Shorter hair suits women with sculpted faces like yours, you have great cheekbones, on point make up, confident and elegant. You look fierce, never doubt yourself xx
