Spanish pistols are criminally underrated. I am actively looking to expand my collection of these before people catch on. I have a few excellent examples, but there are so many more. Like Hungarian pistols...a very deep rabbit hole, indeed. Excellent review! Thank you for your work.
Probably a good idea. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment and share. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. If you haven't already, I hope you'll check out my other "Mick Mac" Tabletop Review videos on RUclips and Rumble.
Thanks. Here's my buying strategy: I maintain a wish-list of firearms of interest, I try to learn as much as I can about them especially their value, I frequent as many gun-shows as I can, I take my time, and I try for "trade-in value" when buying because I'm betting on the seller having a bit less than that invested and it's not an insulting offer. We go from there and I remain respectful, but relaxed and willing to walk away. And I walk away a lot and get turned down even more often. If it's a gun shop, I try to respect that the owner has to makes a profit. If it's an auction, I keep in mind the additional shipping and transfer costs involved. I'll admit I enjoy the hunt, but I'm OK with returning home empty handed -- which is what happens most of the time.
You might want to take a look at the "Truth About Guns" article at www.thetruthaboutguns.com/guns-we-love-astra-constable/ The Hege Waffen AP-66 is actually an Astra Constable. The Astra's barrel is 3.5 inches, and the Walther PP has a 3.9-inch barrel. Some argue that the Astra is not really a PP or PPK clone. There are differences. While similar, personally, I'd be highly cautious about interchangeability. Thanks for watching. If you haven't already, I hope you'll check out my other "Mick Mac" Tabletop Review videos on RUclips.

the Astra's were indeed nice pistols. as were the LLama's and the Star's. this was a copy of the Walther, as you know with a few changes. this would be a nice carry gun.

Are barrels interchangeable between Hege clone and Walther PP?
