Ironically enough it’s the other way around for me, since I did not have a person at first, and between this remix and the original ‘Like You Do’, I’ve lost someone I held close to me. Now this remix hits way harder than the original. But I do vey much understand and respect you’re coming from - I hope you’re doing better ❤

Not only is this the best remix of one of his songs I've ever heard, but it's probably the best tribute video to George I've ever seen. You managed to compact almost 7 years of his growth into a few minutes and still kept that impact. George's content and music holds a very sentimental/special place in my heart, and you really did this already amazing song so much justice. Only way to fix what’s broken inside is to heal what’s broken. His music brings me self reflection
Catharsis, it's when you're so down and so broken the pieces fit together at the bottom, and you can try and jump back from the pit one more time. It's how I get back every time, got a whole list of these for those moments, but you gotta try or else you drown at the bottom.
It’s great to reflect and let your emotions out from time to time. I wouldn’t recommend listening to music that makes you sad on the regular though because it can become a habit impacting your mental state. Just be mindful of what your feeding your brain through your music to your environment and daily activities

I wonder if George expected any of his fans from filthyfrank to grow up with him and move on to be huge fans of his music. I wonder if he realizes regardless of how he appears to his fans, he’ll always hold a special place in our hearts. His music is a true treasure, and I feel so lucky to have been born when I was and being able to experience it ❤
Having been a huge fan of George since 2013, I think his time as Filthy Frank gives his fanbase a unique level of familiarity and connection that not many other celebrities have. In my opinion, he's kept his private life separate enough that I wouldn't say we grew up alongside him as a person, but we definitely grew up alongside his art, which is just as special. His influence and talent is much more widespread than anyone gives him credit for.

this song is and was, very special to me, the album debut was during my first big relationship, one i truly and wholeheartedly wished would never end, I'd waste away my days planning our future, making playlists to send, drawings, songs, we would spend nights awake talking and days together laughing at how silly it was that we met each other when we did, and i remember hearing this song and crying realizing that love would most definitely end, we were too young and inexperienced to make do with our flaws and mistakes, even though our love was strong and truly everlasting, and in the aftermath "our songs" would become "bittersweet lullabies"
i can say that after hearing this i saw it all in my mind again, every part of it replayed, but knowing now that it's over, and your remix got a sorrowful smile out of me, thanks for making me feel something good about that time again

This song did change my life. When I first heard it, I thought it was so sorrowful and it drove me to tears. But as I experienced life and learned more about me and the people around me I started to see the beauty in it. It is truly about love and the love I felt for the person when I first heard this song. I've been listening to this on repeat for over a week now and... god, it's just brilliant. I already dug the heck out of this song, but your edit adds an incredible layer to it... it has such a haunting, beautifully bittersweet sound to it with all of your added touches, and the shifting background formats are utterly gorgeous, and they do a great job of emphasizing that feeling of frightening change.

i’m so happy george moved into music from youtube as he was far too talented to continue the filthy frank stuff, as great as he was at it but at the same time i do miss seeing more of him in footage etic. his latest album felt like it had a lot less promotion and build up less with him compared to nectar. I haven’t been fortunate enough to go see him in concerts like some friends of mine but i’ve heard he’s incredible and really entertaining. Just wish we could see more of it online. Great edit btw!

I absolutely love the ending part where the lyrics match with each album over his Discography, and then it shows shots from each release! It's so powerful to see how far he has come in his career as an artist. From starting the Harlem Shake trend and being the pink guy some grew to know, to him being one of the best selling artists of this generation. I can't wait to see what he has to give us next☺️
