In my Casio LK208 identical to yours even with the guitar nylon effect you shared in a reply below I don't hear each note with that reverberance in the background. How do you get it please?
The link needed an update :) just updated it ... should work for you now. Looks like I need to put up a cover for it also. This one sounds a little better on a 76-key keyboard ( Little bigger bass sound )
I might have added reverb to it ... not something I usually do. I'll check and let you know :) It really sounds nice on a larger Casio. I have an older 76-key Casio (that doesn't turn on anymore) that had a richer bass sound.
@@LetterNotePlayer Thank you very much, I´d appreciate it very much bc even when I´ve already adavanced it lacks that reverberation to motivate me more 😊
In the video - using a Straight 8 beat or Funk 8 beat rhythm - either one will work. Set at 112 beats per minute. I like it a little bit slower ... 108 bpm. I used 112 to match the original tempo played at the end. Deep Purple rhythm section pushes the tempo up a little as the piece goes on. Slow it down to 108 if you want to :)
Casio LK 280. Sounds even better on one of the larger Casios - I have an old 76-key Casio with bigger speakers that it really sounds good on. I use the Nylon String Guitar sound ... gives the bass a good sound and has a nice clean sound for the guitar :)
Yeah, you're right - had a version in my iTunes that was wrongly attributed to Hendrix. Nearly identical to my Deep Purple version. Correcting the letternotes & website today. The version I used has a great guitar solo that sounds like Hendrix - could be Deep Purple's tribute version. I was gonna chart the solo into letter notes, didn't like the sound - it is better as an improv. It's been covered by plenty of artists - but Hendrix was already playing for a more Heavenly audience. Thanks for the heads-up. :)
Yet another excellent tutorial. Many thanks John.
Grazie! Mi serviva per impararla. Potresti fare anche quella dei pink Floyd another break...
Very in-depth! Thanks man!

Awesome tutorial! I'm gonna play this on the glockenspiel and surprise my band teacher tomorrow :)
Great idea :) Not quite as easy on the Glockenspiel as on the keyboard, but I'm sure you can do it :)
@@LetterNotePlayer Thanks! It was hard at first, but I eventually got the hang of it :)
Perfect lesson !

And what voice?
from 4:25 it sound like some sort of ethnic chinese song xDDD
You mean Deep Purple. They did this song, not Jimi Hendrix.
