Thanks for watching mate! Just trying to bring as much information as possible in these kind of videos. Also been working on being a bit more natural with my voice, I kinda fell into a robotic, monotonous tone in my earlier mod videos, but it's getting better :)

I'm using Nostalgia Shaders V5. Shader profile is set to high with the SSAO Intensity lowered to 0.4 [under indirect lighting].

Hi! Are these mods client-side mods? I'd LOVE to have many of them but my gf doesn't want to add more mods to our server, which she is hosting (we have like 150 mods lol)
A couple of these are most likely client side (Screenshot Viewer and Particle Tweaks for example) but there's probably some here that will affect serverside. Usually, it may show if it's for client or serverside on the mod's page.
Can never go wrong adding some more mods on client side if there's too many server side!

@@Yojeepee Clear Glass with Connected Textures and the Fire Rekindled Resourcepack - this pack reworks the Nether Portal and many other fire related blocks like fires, furnaces, campfires and more. Agreed, the Nether Portal looks great for sure! :)

Some mods could work for pure vanilla (Screenshot viewer for example) but other mods like Drop Confirm, HorseBuff and Glassbreaker probably won't. As long as it doesn't really add anything new and is mostly small changes. Was there any mod/s in particular that you were wanting to use on a pure vanilla server?
@@CrittersModMenageriei'm new to this whole Mod -ding minecraft stuff and i'm was looking on something like find item in a chest . In a messy chest , you type what you want and that item highlighted for me

Ahhh okie. There's Searchable Chests and Containor Search, which sounds like it's the mod that you'd like for chests. First mod is only up to 1.16.5 though www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/searchable-chests

With regards to servers, those chest mods should be fine, since it's from your end (aka client side) and doesn't affect anyone else. Chat Walk should be fine as well, anvil repairing though I'm unsure. It works for client and server side, it just depends on if others consider that not vanilla.

dont show mods for fabric or quilt, they are dumb versions of forge that no one uses.

I've played quite a bit of Forge, but all it took was one custom fabric modpack to make me prefer fabric. It's really good, actually.
Forge is hella worse than fabric 💀
