    Oggi mio padre, FULVIO CHIANESE, ha fatto il suo ultimo atterraggio, ma porterà sempre la sua aquila da Com.te con se. Prima di lasciarci, mi ha pregato di ringraziarvi per l'affetto dimostratogli nei vs commenti e per i suoi colleghi per l'impeccabile professionalità, lui era orgoglioso di voi e con umiltà non usava quasi mai l'autorità del suo grado, diceva che non serviva in ALITALIA. Kai Tak approach very difficult and very well made, but pilot said in Italian, that is much easier than Reggio Calabria airport approach in Italy. Anyway, as always, Alitalia pilots are one of the best in the world!

    • @adamp.3739
      @adamp.3739 4 года назад

      OK, then how is Reggio Calabria harder than Kai Tak? At Kai Tak, you need to swing half-90 right extremely close to the runway threshold with additional crosswinds, so does Reggio Calabria throw in any further curveballs?

    • @yaricerruti8039
      @yaricerruti8039 4 года назад +8

      @@adamp.3739 As Captain Chianese said at around 5:05 (in italian), in Reggio Calabria you're touching ground while you're pretty much still inclined, whereas at Kai Tak you have got a few meters after the right veer to level the aircraft.
      But still, he makes it look easy but this approach looks like a pilot's nightmare to me 😂

    • @francescomagni3727
      @francescomagni3727 4 года назад +5

      @@adamp.3739 you have much less space to level out of the last turn, and there are houses right after the end of the runway, pretty much like Lukla. reggio has 2 runways but one is closed, the other one can be used only in one direction for landings and the other for takeoffs due to obstacle limitations, no matter the wind, so tailwind is likely to be a factor. Oh and the runway is quite narrow and short. Some AZ captains have a story saying that you cant get the landing at reggio right unless you deploy the reverse thrust during the flare and apparently someone even tried it - or at least thatvs how the story goes. Finally, being on the sea, it's quite windy... Only good side is that being a regional airport, the largest thing landing there was MD80s and now A320s.. Much better than landing an MD11.

      suppongo siano riporti dei valori di variometro a scendere, quindi 800 piedi/minuto a scendere, 1000, 900, e così via.
      Sempre suppongo che in un avvicinamento del genere il PF (pilot flying, ossia quello che porta l'aereo, in questo caso il Comandante) sia agevolato nel sentire le letture del variometro invece che alternare gli occhi fuori e dentro; non c'è molto margine di errore in un avvicinamento del genere.

    예수는 하나님을 만나는 유일한 길이요, 생명입니다. 그대가 예수를 믿으면 죄와 사탄의 권세에서 영원히 해방되고 하나님의 자녀가 되어 천국의 모든 축복을 받아 누리게 됩니다. 예수 생명이 나의 생명이 되며 예수 능력이 나의 능 력이 됩니다. 예수를 믿고 영접하세요.
