The Birthing Process of End-Time Deliverers
Perhaps many in our day never expect to be called to fulfill their Ephraimite birthright role of serving as end-time saviors of the house of Israel. That, however, is the reality many will face. Some-like Apostle Orson Hyde, who in 1841 traveled to dedicate the Holy Land for the return of the Jews-will fulfill their task. Others who are called, as was John E. Page, never will.
But behind the exterior reality of those faithful servants whom God calls to graft the natural branches of the olive tree back into their mother tree (Jacob 5:61) exists an internal reality of faithful handmaidens who empower their charges to perform their tasks. For them, the collective phenomenon known as the “Birthpangs of the Messiah” takes on a personal or individual aspect.
Together, these kings and queens of the Gentiles-alias the 144,000 servants of God (Isaiah 49:22-23; Revelation 14:1-5; Doctrine & Covenants 77:11)-accomplish Israel’s restoration that precedes Jesus’ coming in glory. Called as judges of Israel’s twelve tribes in the pattern of his apostles, they reign with him a thousand years (Matthew 19:28; Revelation 7:1-8; 20:4, 6).
Just as a king’s role is to be an intercessor or savior of those to whom he ministers-as was King Hezekiah (Isaiah 37:15-20)-so a queen’s role is to validate and empower a king. Her spiritual, mostly hidden role is one of “birthing the king,” as without her he is no king. When a woman fulfills this for a man, he feels motivated to live up to her expectations and perform his part.
So was Zipporah to Moses when the Lord tasked him with delivering Israel out of bondage in Egypt (Exodus 4:18-26). So was Deborah to Barak when the Canaanites oppressed Israel for twenty years, and he smote them with the edge of the sword (Judges 4:1-16). And so was Michal to David when the Philistines threatened Israel, and he slew them at will (1 Samuel 18:20-30).
When today’s women take ownership of their true identity as queens and birthing mothers of saviors-as the Lamanite mothers did of their sons who fought with Helaman-and when the men are made to feel validated and spiritually empowered by the women’s trust and confidence in them, then both grow into their full identities as end-time deliverers of the house of Israel.
To attain male-female parity, therefore-the only state in which ultimate joy and happiness is possible-a woman’s definition of “helpmeet” (‘ezer; Genesis 2:18, 20) doesn’t simply mean “helper.” Rather, as the first two components of the Hebrew term suggest (‘oz; “strength” or “power”), she is a man’s empowerer, just as Jehovah himself is (‘azar; Isaiah 41:13-14).
Under conditions of male-female parity, the Covenant of Brotherhood revealed through the prophet Joseph Smith-“Art thou a brother or brethren? I salute you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in token or remembrance of the everlasting covenant, in which covenant I receive you to fellowship, in a determination that is fixed, immovable, and unchangeable, to be your friend and brother through the grace of God in the bonds of love, to walk in all the commandments of God blameless, in thanksgiving, forever and ever. Amen” (Doctrine & Covenants 88:133)-may fulfill its fuller purpose.

Yes, a major awakening. Been a member since 15 yrs old. Active most of my life since then. Served in many callings, sometimes 3 @ a time. But didn’t do much home study. Then when Covid hit, I started studying at home, & watching many church videos & podcasts. Now, several years later, with nearly daily repentance & daily study, I truly feel (for the first time) deeply converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel like a new creature. I don’t even know what I was before. I was younger & had less pain 10 years ago, but I thought church attendance & serving in callings was enough. Now I can’t serve the way I used to, due to health issues that bring a lot of daily pain to my body. Now, sometimes it feels like my only relief is when immersed in gospel study, so that’s what I do with most of my time. I feel like a different being. I connect with the spirit of the Lord more often & more easily. I pray for discernment almost daily, & when I do, it’s there for me. Things are more clear. My understanding of the gospel is expanding like never before. I used to be bored with scripture & study, now I can’t get enough. I have left Hollywood entertainment (Babylon) almost entirely behind - it’s so distasteful now. Gospel study is so fulfilling for me, like never before.
I feel the same. Gospel study is so exciting. I've left entertainment behind. The telestial world has no appeal to me. I also deal with a lot of pain. It's frustrating but at the time, it is Sanctifying. I'm glad we have connected here!

yes, these last maybe 3 years, I've felt an urgency to be my best possible self and to immerse myself in Isaiah, Revelation and the temple. President Hollands April '24 conference talk pierced me to the center. The Spirit was powerful and urging me to more fervent prayers

We also have a son with severe autism & developmental delays & the last few years have felt more strongly the important role of women & mothers & the role we will play in His return. Absolutely beautiful, I especially liked the end where he talked about women and their role. I’ve been feeling this urgency to be more in tune and I’ve been to the temple often as of late, I’ve received some profound counsel from the Lord. But Avraham articulated what I’ve already been learning so it was a second witness to me.

Yes, for ten years I was slowly getting prepared until a year ago when I suddenly realized how much I did not understand. Three months ago the pace suddenly picked up and I've never felt better! I'm excited for what's to come and am actively seeking to fulfill my role in God's great plan.

Awake since 1999, and its been a long, slow trudge since then. But things are gradually gaining momentum, the last 7 years have been difficult but amazing. I met a spouse who also felt these things were coming to pass, do im not alone. Come Lord Jesus, end this wicked world!

Our "awakening" is just beginning! The words of the prophets in the future along with our capacity to "Hear Him" more deeply will be necessary to continue with the "awakening" the Lord has in store for us. President Nelson has made it clear that "Overcoming the world" takes a lifetime and cannot be expected to happen quickly.
I have felt an awakening. For me it began in 2018 and it's been an eye opening journey since then. I think the biggest thing I'm realizing is that I need to have an open heart and mind to be able to feel and accept these truths that we hadn't been able to see yet. Because the King of Ghana visited Zion and converted.
@@germanslice the kings and queens have nothing to do with political rules. They are the faithful, covenant keeping disciples who have been CALLED UP and anointed through faithfulness to their Endowment covenants. They are SAINTS in the true sense of the word!
I believe the number 144,000 is a symbolic number. I believe there will be way more than that number.
@@spirtualsurvival It is very possible for kings and queens of faraway lands to see the light that comes from out of Zion and visit Zion to see what Zion is all about and convert to the Lord as the King of Ghana Did as far as I heard and take the gospel with them back to their own land to teach their people and become faithful covenant keeping disciples and go to the temple to be sealed just just like the rest of the faithful members in the church. So I believe the invitation to become a king and queen onto god extends to all people who come to Zion to accept that invitation to take upon them the name of Christ and to come to the temple to receive the promised blessings God has to give..
I had an awakening when I was in my mid twenties and it has just grown from there. I just turned 70 and revelation is coming as fast as I can take it.

I've awakened big time since July 2023.
What caused your awakening?
It was line upon line but very strong and continues…I was just in church and felt the spirit real strong. I felt to set an appointment with Bishop. We set goals to get my recommend, accomplished that. Got my two kids involved in church (I’m divorced and I see them on weekends) now my son is on fire, preparing for a mission. My daughter is on fire too and it’s all just so crazy all this could happen since July. I went to prison for 3 years in my past, word of wisdom and addiction problems much of my life. My understanding of everything has accelerated at an alarming pace. It all started with repentance as I look back. There’s just so many things that have happened, these are just a few since July. I dream things that are sacred, I understand the scriptures now, I love helping others, and so much more. I can’t even describe. It’s amazing to me and I know great things are coming.

Let me try one more time to add this. "But behold, the life of my servant shall be in my hand; therefore they shall not hurt him, although he shall be marred because of them. Yet I will heal him, for I will show unto them that my wisdom is greater than the cunning of the devil."
Healed to me means he will return, thus showing the God's wisdom is greater than his "friends" who put him away.
From his patriarchal blessing - "No weapon formed against him shall prosper, and though the wicked mar him for a little season, he shall be like one rising up in the heat of wine - he shall roar in his strength, and the Lord shall put to flight his persecutors" Yes a little season. He shall rise up as it says.
"Thou shalt hold the Keys of this ministry, even the presidency of this church, both in time and in eternity...Thou shalt speak the word of the Lord and the earth shall tremble; the mountains shall move and the rivers shall turn out of their course. Thou shalt escape the edge of the sword, and put to flight the armies of the wicked."
He will be here to do the work he was sent to do. He only has the keys. We are deceived if we think any other has them.
"Thou shalt stand upon the earth when it shall reel to and fro as a drunken man, and be removed out of its place: thou shalt stand when the mighty judgments go forth to the destruction of the wicked: thou shalt stand on Mount Zion when the tribes of Jacob come shouting from the north" Has this happened yet, No. So we wait for the promises to be fulfilled and the little season to be over.

In order to be a true king or queen we need to know how to correctly apply the key principles of justice and mercy. To apply them correctly as God would is righteousness. If we willfully or ignorantly misuse/confuse them it is unrighteousness and then we will not be fit to act as kings or queens of the gentiles. likewise, if we are deceived we cannot apply the principles of justice and mercy correctly. The kings and queens of the gentiles will have to overcome the deception of the end times or they will not be able to serve in this capacity. To overcome the deception of the end times an open teachable spirit is a prerequisite. A spirit/mind open to question and investigate the "truth" of the end times and then accept the actual truth.

In my humble opinion, I think we are awakened at different times for important reasons. Keep loving and supporting! The tribulations will wake up many.

144,000 is 100% a figurative number. 12 x 12 x 1000 or 12 tribes x priesthood power x an infinite multiplier. The key to the meaning is explained by our Prophet when he says there is no greater work that we can be engaged in than gathering Israel. Sealing of the 144,000 takes place in the Temple when we receive our Covenants and are sealed as Priests (and Priestesses) to the most high God. All worthy Latter-day Saints, past and present, who are sealed in the Temple, are numbered among the 144,000. That includes those who receive their covenants by proxy. As we engage in the gathering we are fulfilling the calling of the 144,000. The unique powers the 144,000 possess will be exercised according to God’s requirements to complete his work. That’s my belief, for what it’s worth. Those who quibble in assigning specifics to that number won’t recognize the prophecy is currently being fulfilled. Hence, they won’t be prepared for the Lord’s coming which I believe is soon. Ask yourself one basic question when listening to “last days” prognosticators: does this person’s interpretation lend itself to what our Prophet is telling us (e.g. “now is the time”)?
