Love this group. The Hollies are a British pop rock group formed in 1962 & known for their great harmonies. They had so many hit songs such as "The Air That I Breathe", "Bus Stop", "Stop Stop Stop", "On A Carousel", "Carrie Anne", "Here I Go Again", "Look Through Any Window", "King Midas In Reverse", "Jennifer Eccles", "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" etc. "Graham Nash" was originally in this group & left in 1968 to form "Crosby, Stills & Nash".
The singer, Graham Nash, co-founded The Hollies, and later, when he moved to the States, he joined Dave Crosby & Steve Stills, and they were later joined by Neil Young.
Love this song!...one of my all time faves my first perspective of this song is a picture of a big bro with his sickly little brother on his back carrying him a perfect fit for this song as we as another one with a military person carrying a wounded soldier, either one is a tear jer ker great reaction
Can you imagine? We all embraced this feeling of love and brotherhood. And we fought so hard. But now I look at where are and look back at 60 years gone and I'm sad man
*This song meant so much to our soldiers in Vietnam at the time. The Hollies were overshadowed by The Beatles, but great. Please check out "The Air That I Breathe"!*
Now that you’ve heard this, you will never forget it. This was a time that was steeped in the equality movement. It was such an incredible time for those of us who had enough gladness and love. We still haven’t made enough progress. And, I cry every time I hear this song.
When I graduated from the fire academy, at our graduation they played a video of us from Day 1 to our last day, in which we were burning down a real house and going in the burning being a real firefighters... I came out of the house, dragging the hose, covered in soot and ashes. I had a pickaxe in my other hand; they filmed all of it, and when I took off my oxygen mask and helmet and all of our families and friends stood and gave me a standing ovation, they realized I was a female, getting it done. I was the only female.
This song is so beautiful and a tear jerker. It's a phenomenal song that will stand the test of time. The Hollies are amazing 👏 ❤

So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 love your brother as in mankind
Beautiful song. Brings back Vietnam for me. Theme song for many of those poor souls.
This is my favorite by the Hollies!!
Me too.
This is one of my top 5 favorite songs of all times and I'm 71 and have listened to a lot of music.
The Hollies had a lot of hits but this is my favorite! Thank you!!
Loved your reaction! If you can't get choked up by this song, you don't have a heart. The Hollies are Top 5 when it comes to harmonies.
The Air That I Breathe, and Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress) are a couple of great songs too
This song really should be our second national anthem.
The singer, Graham Nash, co-founded The Hollies, and later, when he moved to the States, he joined Dave Crosby & Steve Stills, and they were later joined by Neil Young.
The lead singer is actually Allan Clarke, not Graham Nash, who did more guitar and backups in this group.
Yes and they sucked compared to the hollies and nash was backing singer to clarke
Great reaction. I have seen your other reaction video's. You are very insightful
