Our latest Live release takes us back to the early 1980’s. A period of time in which virtuoso session players networked from album to album producing unmistakable signature performances and countless hit records.
Rosanna, by Superband Toto - featured a stellar lineup including the track’s writer - David Paich, Guitarist Steve Lukather, and the unmistakable half-time shuffle of Drummer Jeff Porcaro (played beautifully by Jake Woodward). It ranks as one of the bands most recognisable singles and won Record of the Year in the 1983 Grammy Awards. Also, a special mention to Jonni Musgrave and Paul Thornton for their great rendition of the solos
This was easily one of our most challenging tracks to recreate live, but equally one of the most rewarding. A personal favourite of every single band member and a joy to perform live at the New Adelphi Theatre in Salford back in November 2022.
