Is MPB.com Legit? My Experience.

- I recently bought a used camera from www.MPB.com and I wanted to put together a quick video on that experience and to talk about whether or not they're a legit company with a good service.

Congratulations on your new Canon M6 and the Sigma lens. I've bought several cameras and lenses from MPB and only had one minor problem and they took care of it promptly. Everything else was better than described.

Use a tripod. Show actual working of camera/vid/pix. How it's packaged and what it looks like is meaningless too much time spent explaining the wrapping paper etc. Though I applaud you for putting out your creation and I hope you enjoy photography/vid again. I came from b&w photo lab, many years and photographer too. I just sold & bought from mpb and I now worry about the actual functioning of the camera I bought since I've not received it as yet. If it functions good that's what it's all about, looks good who cares.
I’m sorry, I just saw your comment. The post wasn’t a review of the camera itself. Others have done a better job of reviewing the camera that I could do, so I leave it to them. I was just giving a quick review of MPB.com and what my experience with them was like, which is why I talked about product quality, packaging and delivery, what to expect when buying from them, etc. That’s what people need to know when reviewing a seller. Hope this helped.
Be careful of MPB trade in prices they are terribly low ! Buying prices are pretty good but trade in prices they do take the p**s sometimes !
Any idea how long it takes to ship with free shipping just ordered a 5d mark ii
It tends to depend on where you live. I live in California and it took five days to arrive.

@@azzaz905It was dispatched within 24 hours of my order. I don't remember the exact number of days it took to arrive, but I remember I had it in my hands in under a week's time. It may have been as little as 5 days.
@@fourbandits Oh cool, what month did you order in? I just bought a 70-200 nikkor f2.8 last night and hopefully it will come either next week or early the following week. Fingers crossed because Im relying on this lens to come in for this event im shooting on the 15th lol
@@azzaz905 I bought it between April and May in expectation of my son's visit from Sweden and expected subsequent roadtrip. Your lens should arrive fairly quickly. They did send me a tracking number and I was able to keep track of the delivery. I hope they sent one to you too.
If their condition is “spares and repairs”, what does it mean?
It means that camera is for parts only, to use parts from it to repair another less damaged camera. You could also break it down into parts to sell individually on websites like eBay, where if you're lucky your return on investment may turn out to be more than you paid for the camera.

@@johnjiang2122depends on heisting some are easily fixable some are parts like they got a 5d mark I I for 100 biggest prob exposure doesn't show on LCD but shows on view finder also on lens the manual focus ring can be loose
Polecam kupiłem Sigma 18-250 do Sony , polecam.
After sending my gear to MPB they dropped their offer (with no explanation) over $300. I told them to send my gear back and they claimed they tossed out my original Sony box. Then I noticed that my owner's manual for my camera was missing. They claimed they tossed that out as well. Anyone believe they threw an original manual away?

Your brand new phone has the same type of “scratches” out of the box. Light reflections off the glass on video, that’s all.
