I passed out from OTA in 1988 and my son in 2017, both from Meiktila. I passed SSB but rejected medically at Allahabad. Passed SSB again in Bangalore, also medically fit. Every word reminds me of my days. BUT I WAS PHYSICALLY VERY FIT😊

Loved it, reminded of my days in OTA. With the ongoing Sri Lankan war, many of us landed up there. Lt Rajeev Sandhu, MVC (Posthumous), was my senior-buddy. He had gifted me his cap before leaving, which I lost during the Commando Course at Belgaum, ran for miles looking for it at mid-night, couldn't find it

Major your camp story is quite similar to that of my daughter's. While in the Indian Naval Academy she broke her leg and was sent back home for 3 weeks to nurse her injury. She returned to INA still in the cast just before the camps. Her plaster was removed but without any rehab or physio off she had gone for the camps. Her course mates helped her in the same manner as yours. Fauj ka tredition he hai aisa. I was feeling the same way as your mother. My only child was in a lot of pain but showed a lot of grit. Academy ne sab sikha diya and today I am a proud mother of a proud fauji.🇮🇳
Maj. Arya I think your father Mr. D k Arya was an IPS officer of M P cadre who retired as DG BSF and after retirement he was Advisor to Governor of U P during President rule.

Sir you are not awared that this academy series will help a lot of aspiring cadets like me .... i am seriously feeling more motivated bcoz sometime its a self doubt period u go through but in that when u see ur inspiration sharing his anecdotes of the same phase which u are aspiring to go through it really feels so good , i also found some similarities bw ur life before being a cadet and my life on small points like u pursued ur graduation in history honours i am also pursuing in the same, i was also a hardcore nda aspirant u also gave ssb for the same and i also used to hate running and all and u were also like that in academy ... i have literally found it very helpful in preparing for the IMA with full zeal keeping physical standards in mind...❤❤❤

My father was in 2 PARA, and I regret not appearing for my SSB Interview. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it's still something I will trade everything to go back in the past and get things right.
Lovely narration of the story. I am your generation from fully relate to it. My experience with these were in NCC drills and once we went for a camp..I was taught to make our own food ourselves with tomatoes etc., Rifle training etc. Of course I didn't go the Army route and came into civilian occupations.. but I wish I took the Army path. Nevermind I always admire the Army and services people and hold them in high esteem.
Motivating. Only Indian Army could transform any lad like you. I have also been a part of Army training. I am an ncc ANo in a school and did my PRCN course from OTS kamptee Nagpur now it is called OTA. Jai hind major sir. 🙏🙏
My father also was an Ano in air wing and in college life he was an senior under officer in NCC.he is a NCC c certificate holder with Alfa grade.he was also trainee officer in tambram,yelanka and kamptee also.

Brother the training is difficult but the training routine is such that you will eventually be able to adapt to it.

Lovely narration of the story. I am your generation from fully relate to it. My experience with these were in NCC drills and once we went for a camp..I was taught to make our own food ourselves with tomatoes etc., Rifle training etc. Of course I didn't go the Army route and came into civilian occupations.. but I wish I took the Army path. Nevermind I always admire the Army and services people and hold them in high esteem.
Motivating. Only Indian Army could transform any lad like you. I have also been a part of Army training. I am an ncc ANo in a school and did my PRCN course from OTS kamptee Nagpur now it is called OTA. Jai hind major sir. 🙏🙏
My father also was an Ano in air wing and in college life he was an senior under officer in NCC.he is a NCC c certificate holder with Alfa grade.he was also trainee officer in tambram,yelanka and kamptee also.

Waise mai bhi fauji family se belong kartin hun or kitni hi stories sunni hai ki bataa nahi sakti, papa, bhai, frnds..... unlimited.
