I thank God that Pastor Jack Hibbs had holy courage to stand before the nation and the leaders to honor God above men. Daniel of the bible immediately came to mind when I heard the prayer. Bible knowledge, how to pray, to memorize the verses by hearing them, you are all a big big blessing. If you only knew how many times i asked something to God in prayer and God used you to give me the answers i needed. I do not know your faces, but i know your kind and calm serene voices. When i can't sleep or when i am afraid i put on the night prayers and your voices and the prayers calm my soul, gives me hope and courage and i do not feel alone anymore and will sleep till the morning. Romans 6 Believers Are Dead to Sin, Alive to God
It is amazing to me that when I interact with ones that say, “I am a Christian” and when questioned; “Then you have turned from all sin?” They say, ”Only Christ lived without sin” which is true but by their own confession they just admitted they know NOTHING of the Holy Scriptures. When a believer has the Holy Spirit inside them, they live to glorify God and stay in an unbroken fellowship with Him. These “Born Again” souls are dead to sin their relationship to sin is broken, but they are alive to God in unbroken fellowship with Him in Christ Jesus. For sin is no longer a master over them and they are no longer under the Law as slaves to sin, but under unmerited GRACE as recipients of God’s favor and mercy. They continually offer themselves to God to do His will. A soul is either a slave to sin and obeys it as their master which leads to death or are in obedience to God the Father by honoring His Son which leads to righteousness and right standing with God. These right-standing souls have been set free from sin and became slaves of righteousness which led them to conformity to God’s will and purpose for their lives. They now live to please God the Father and offer their abilities and talents as slaves to righteousness in obeyance to Him. This in turn leads these souls into sanctification that is, being set apart for God’s purpose and the outcome of this is eternal life. The other souls that are slaves to sin will receive the wages of sin which is death and total separation from God but for the souls that became slaves unto righteousness they will receive the overwhelming gift of GRACE and eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Believers Are Dead to Sin, Alive to God
6 What shall we say [to all this]? Should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] grace may increase and overflow? 2 Certainly not! How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in it any longer? 3 Or are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 We have therefore been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways]. 5 For if we have become one with Him [permanently united] in the likeness of His death, we will also certainly be [one with Him and share fully] in the likeness of His resurrection. 6 We know that our old self [our human nature without the Holy Spirit] was nailed to the cross with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin. 7 For the person who has died [with Christ] has been freed from [the power of] sin.

There is much to unpack is these scriptures. First Paul knew and studied the holy scrolls of his day (Old Testament). Paul at the time he was writing this had already received the “Gift” of the Holy Spirit to guide him into all truth just as Christ told his 11 remaining disciples, He would send to them. The results of a soul being justified and acquitted of sin and declared blameless before God; that soul must have made a sincere decision to turn from all sin and put their faith totally in God to help them to never sin again. Paul in these scriptures is speaking to those that have already received the “Gift” of the Holy Spirit sent to them by the Father. This is the “Grace” of being reconciled back to the Father and only a “Few” will ever receive it. The “Joy” Paul is talking about is the “Joy” a soul has for doing the will of the Father just like Paul by going out and witnessing to believers and unbelievers. The “Hardships” is the pushback one receives from an unbelieving world but through this process a “Child of God” becomes more refined and spiritually grows and becomes a “Warrior” who stands their ground for they speak not by their strength but through the strength and wisdom given to them by God.
Romans 5
Results of Justification
5 Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 2 Through Him we also have access by faith into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] stand. Let us rejoice in our hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power]. 3 And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; 4 and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. 5 Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Romans 5 - Disobedience Of One Man And Obedience Of One Man
Just as everyone has heard about the disobedience of one man Adam they have also heard about the obedience of another Christ. One brought sin and death and cursed the second heaven and earth. The other when all scripture is completed will bring in a new uncursed second heaven and earth with no sin or death. The only condition God put on mankind was to live and walk in righteousness. Righteousness is mentioned 217 in the Old Testament and 101 times in the New Testament. That is a total of 318 times. The number 3 means “Perfect Harmony”. The number 1 means “Perfect Unity”. The number 8 means “Resurrection”. Isn’t it interesting that God only allowed the word “Righteousness” to be used this exact number of times in the Holy (Set Apart ) Bible. First God had to have a way to allow the “Resurrection” of mankind (number 8) from the “Curse of Death”. God sent His Son to do just that. Christ is the “Only Way” to have “Eternal Life”. Second souls must place their faith and trust in Christ (conditional) and receive the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to ever have “Perfect Unity” (number 1) with the Father and the Son. Third after a soul is resurrected (number 8) and have received the Holy Spirit (number 1) then and only then will that soul have “Perfect Harmony” (number 3) with God the Father and the Son. This this what God the Father and the Son means by “Grace” you are saved. Saved from the curse of sin and death and total separation from God and the Son forever.
Romans 5
18 So then as through one trespass [Adam’s sin] there resulted condemnation for all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. 19 For just as through one man’s disobedience [his failure to hear, his carelessness] the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one Man the many will be made righteous and acceptable to God and brought into right standing with Him. 20 But the Law came to increase and expand [the awareness of] the trespass [by defining and unmasking sin]. But where sin increased, [God’s remarkable, gracious gift of] grace [His unmerited favor] has surpassed it and increased all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness which brings eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 2 Used To Silent The Righteous
Many will quote Romans 2 verse 1 in hopes to silent the righteous from being obedient to God and witnessing to a lost and dying world. What Paul is conveying to the “Body of Christ” is never witness to a brother or sister or a lost soul if you are doing it from of position that you yourself are superior when in fact all have sinned and came short of the Glory of God. Show them the path to God but do it in a way that doesn’t put them on the defensive. Pointing out one’s sins leads to judgment - yes - but that is why they need to repent and stop doing it. First they need to know they are a sinner and then that they need a savior. Plant the seed and move on if they are not willing to accept it. At this point, you have done what your Master told you to do and someone else may get to see them humbling themselves, turning from all their sins, being baptized in water as outwardly expressive of their belief, then if they are serious and earnestly study God’s Holy (Set Apart) Bible the Father will send the Holy Spirit to dwell inside them. When this happens, they will be what Christ called “Born Again”. Born where? Into the Kingdom of God. They will become a “New Creature” and will slowly over time take on the characteristics of Christ. They will HATE SIN as much as the Father and the Son does. They will get a “Boldness” just like Christ to go out and witness to a lost and dying world. Many say they are a Christian, but they are “Christian In Name Only” (CINO) only fooling themselves that they will ever be a “Child of God” and walk in God’s Heavenly Kingdom. Matthew 22:14 “For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.” You see God choses who is worthy to receive the “Free Gift” of the Holy Spirit and not any of us. This power contained in the Holy Spirit it is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and will be the same Holy Spirit that changes God’s “Chosen Ones” into their forever glorified bodies those both dead and those alive at the Rapture. These CINO’s only want the promises like a spoiled child but fail to have the discipline to obey and do the will of the Father and have been deceived by the lies and false doctrine of men. Gods’ wrath is still on all these CINO’s and how will they escape God’s judgment and elude His verdict?
Romans 2
1 Therefore you have no excuse or justification, every one of you who [hypocritically] judges and condemns others; for in passing judgment on another person, you condemn yourself, because you who judge [from a position of arrogance or self-righteousness] are habitually practicing the very same things [which you denounce]. 2 And we know that the judgment of God falls justly and in accordance with truth on those who practice such things. 3 But do you think this, O man, when you judge and condemn those who practice such things, and yet do the same yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment and elude His verdict? 4 Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking-seek His purpose for your life]? 5 But because of your callous stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are [deliberately] storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 He will pay back to each person according to his deeds [justly, as his deeds deserve]: 7 to those who by persistence in doing good seek [unseen but certain heavenly] glory, honor, and immortality, [He will give the gift of] eternal life. 8 But for those who are selfishly ambitious and self-seeking and disobedient to the truth but responsive to wickedness, [there will be] wrath and indignation. 9 There will be tribulation and anguish [torturing confinement] for every human soul who does [or permits] evil, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and inner peace [will be given] to everyone who habitually does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality [no arbitrary favoritism; with Him one person is not more important than another].
Thérèse of Lisieux was a young writer, scholar and deep mind. She didn't see the need for long prayers. I would have loved to have heard her speak in this regard.
