Loved your reaction when she hit the creciendo, its one of her vocal "weapons of destruction", she's a true powerhouse performer, and famous in the Netherlands and Belgium. She isnt scared of performing infront of 17.000 people, as she does that several times a year. But there is famous and famous, her being known in an erea the size of a little over the size of Maryland USA, suddenly shows the scale of famous, its local, and her fame should be international, if they play it right at AGT, she and her friends can fill entire stadiums for their live shows. So in that respect, it isnt unfair that a seasoned musician enters AGT (like some do claim), she deserved that breaktrough years ago, and it never happend, so this time.. it has to happen. Its her time to shine.
Sounds wonderful, but let's not forget what happened to Whitney. World wide success sounds great, but time and time again proves to be destructive to the performers. She's 39, alive and kick'n and singing like a godess. Where's Whitney?
at 39 houston had ruined her voice and she couldnt hit those highs anymore, also her downfall was a toxic relationship and a lot of cocaine abuse. Glennis is very down to earth, not saying she wouldnt fall for the traps of big fame, but i do believe she knows how to handle most of that, especially because she's a 39 yr old mother.
Ash, the industry ruins people. The top artists have 100 times more chance to die of unnatural causes than 'normal' people. I adjudge her (Glennis) all the success she deserves, but hope she won't fall for the evil things she might find on her path;-) For your information, Glennis won a Dutch TV talent show when she was 16 years old (1994!) imitating guess who...! She didn't fall from the sky, she had 24 years to study Whitney and get into her soul. And it shows!!!

Well I am American so I only heard about her in passing and did a brief look up on her. I don't doubt she is one of the greatest, but she isn't very well known outside of the Netherlands. Her voice deserves to be heard world wide though.

She built a reputation in Holland for her Whitney tributes, but Glennis is very special, in the fact she acknowledges that her voice is (identical) and that she was blessed to receive this voice, but she is not as some blogs have insinuated, an imitator. Thats her pure voice, and we have all be given this gift now twice in our lives. But, Honestly, Faith, I don't know how I feel about this audition because she is famous in the Netherlands and has been on the music charts there. She also has a tour which is going to resume in the fall of this year. I consider her a professional and I just don't know how I feel about her competing against people who have not had a career, who are not known, and who have not had her experience. You should watch her sing Always. It is unbelievable. Glennis Grace - Always I think Glennis Grace has a tremendous gift. She has some videos on RUclips that shows how great a singer she is. She is the seasons show and hit that everyone would anticipate to see every time the whole season all the way to the Finalist performance which would be her. She is better that the Golden Buzzers. If there was a golden buzzer left she would have got it. Thats why the judges have to change the way they do the buzzers. They should wait until the auditions are over and then decide the GB's.

The judges don't know that because the Golden Buzzer's are finished. They still give a GB's to the first person they like and that uses up all the GB's before the audition rounds are over. This episode that Glennis Grace is on has all the GB's used up and besides , the five people that got the GB's won't be performing until the live shows and by your logic the ratings would be better if they didn't get the GB because every thaty perform would be high ratings.
