@@vitaliydickson2530ironically, I’ve always found Rubin’s drumming too technically clean… it’s just “boring” to me. Aaron’s drumming has a lot of energy.
Even Angels and Airwaves with Aaron Willard is night and day different than AVA with Ilan…
I’m sure it is purely a taste thing but I would take Aaron Gillespie, Alex Rodriguez, Atom Willard over Ilan Rubin.

Hugo Rezende he was the old drummer for underoath and he was an absolute beast but he decided to make more church music and left
Church always has great drummer, maybe is the best music school. Im not cristian, but when ypu think about gospel drummers in general they are always good. Paramore has changed drummer lot of times. But i think zac is coming back (something like that was posted on the facebook page)

Underoath was and is my all time favorite band. The fact that Aaron became Paramore's tour drummer and nothing short of a miracle haha.

Aaron is amazing! he play the drums pattern note by note from the recording. zac's drum pattern (and also Ilan Rubin) is complex and groovy at the same time, and he can play it perfectly. i think it's a great gesture from a drummer with his own "color" but as session drummer he need to play the same pattern so the original band member feels secure (also the fans that already memorised the drum pattern and air drumming all the time).

Even since UO, Aaron has been one of my favorite drummers because of his unbelievable additions to every song he plays. If you watch Jeremy and Taylor after some of his fills, like at 5:20, they are blown away lol

To be honest i don't like this drummer his playing style is odd and the fact that he uses the ride cymbal instead of the crashes makes me cringe a little

God, I love the energy Hayley has, and it’s infectious watching her play off of Aaron. Such a tight lineup
Glad Zac is back with the band, but for me Aaron was always the best drummer this band had when it came to talent and sheer stage presence from behind the kit.
In fact Aaron is one of Zac's influences on drums
Zac > Ilan > Aaron. I love tons of part Aarons has written for Underoath and whatnot, but Ilan's parts on the record he played on are so nuts. You can kind of tell on songs like "Now" that Aaron is doing his best, but it still just doesn't have the feel that Ilan brings to those songs.
Look at Aaron go smash the drums! Still hasn't lost his touch.

I like Ilan Rubin better in Paramore. Don't get me wrong, I love Aaron - he kills it, super fun to watch. But I liked how techincal Ilan got with the parts he wrote for the self-titled Paramore album.

Fact of the matter is, he may not be quiiiiite as technically proficient, but after Ilan Rubin wrote these parts, one of the only guys who would adequately be able to follow that up with the same intensity is Aaron. He’s proficient enough, but since 14 he’s been touring with UØ. And he knows exactly what to give to a live performance to make it a REAL rock show. So all y’all can fuck off. If you don’t get it, you just don’t get it.

I really like this. It's a good camera angle with pretty decent quality. But the best is seeing all the little things. Hailey uses the mic by the drums to (I assume) talk to the band and sound engineers. Only wish I knew what was said. Then all the little interactions the band has with each other is pretty cool. Hailey bumping into the guitarist and all the other close calls. Watching the crowd is pretty funny too
