It really is the perfectly designed bike and so iconic .. i dnt understand y kawi hasnt done an anniversary edition for this bike yet i really hope they do one day !
I used to ride my zx7r P2 all year round, put 30,000 miles on it, track day’s it, drag raced it. It did a 10.8 second quarter mile. I went up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket which made a nice difference. Then it was stolen never to be seen again. Still have an affinity for these bikes
Lovely bike. Here in the UK I have a black 1997 ZX7R P2, which I've owned since 2005. I'm actually going to sell it & buy a newer 600cc bike, as I'm now finding the 7R too heavy to push around my small garage, & also I get pain in my wrist (especially clutch side) so want something a bit easier.
Such a cool bike. I almost bought one once. A guy I was working with talked me out of it, saying they had reliability issues. Looking back I wish I had bought it. He was a young guy, I don't think he knew what he was talking about. A few months later I came across a very clean ZX9R, and bought it. I could have the 7 and the 9. Enjoy. Peace.
I think if these bikes are maintained well are very reliable. I had put over 12000Km in one year on it with zero issues. The 9 is nice also, one of my favorites.
This used to be on my pc wallpaper! Absolutely love it. I remember when i was young, a brand flashing new ZX7R went passing my dad's car on highway. I just wow!
Hello from NB. the Bike looks great. Just got my `01 38000km, but needs some maintenance and a bit of bodywork repairs. Main thing would be a new tail section (all 3 pieces) would refer to find them up here in Canada, I would appreciate if you could maybe canvas your local wreckers for me. Cheers
Gorgeous bike....If you are looking for a second bike to save wear and tear on ZX-7R, purchase a 2000-02 ZX-9R. They are great bikes and that 899 cc motor is pretty much bullet-proof....
Your voice sounds very familiar to me and then you mentioned martial arts in this video. You wouldn’t happen to be an instructor of Mas Oyama’s karate by any chance??
cool i have this EXACT same bike got a 2000 almost done and a 98 under the tarps lol next project i also loves those ninja from Hawkesbury here lets ride man
I don't recommend it as a first bike, but then again I've seen people doing well on Hayabusas as a first bike and people horrible on Ninja 300. I had first the Ninja 650, then the zzr600 and now the zx7r.
90% like this, I only did small cosmetic improvements and normal maintenance like oil, chain and sprockets. I paid $3200 Canadian dollars and probably I spent about $500 more. I was lucky to find a good one with low mileage.
The zx7r has a more leaning forward position and less hp. It is known to have one of the best front ends of that era so it handles very good. Also the zx7r because of its racing history it has become a collectible already, so it's good if you find one in good shape. That being said the zx9r is also awesome and I would like one too.
@@kawamaniaczx7r I have both a zx7r p2 and its head down, bum up. It wants to be ridden hard. On the other hand my Zx9r C2 is a mile munching sports/tourer in comparison. Both are very fast and will satisfy any need for rapid blood chilling acceleration. Just get both. LOL.
pro review of zx7r looks like this 👉🏻 foken sports bike with mirroor and plate with foken position like in cannonball where after 10 km ypur arm are broken and spine 😉👌🏻 it have 120 hp in derestricted version but cos its heavy like 💩 230 kg it is beatenbe new kawasaki zx6 r 190 kg with similar power both in corners and on straight and basically thats it 😉but thanks additional weight its more stable atleast 👌🏻 end of story 🤐
Nice bike bro. It looks like it's had a full respray or it has Chinese Fairings on it. Those decals don't look original. Also, your brake lever is bent out of shape too. That bike is really 90's Technology despite it being a 2000 model. That era the bikes were built like tanks. That bike will outlast you for sure if you take good care of it. Keep up the maintenance and it will last forever. My brother had a '97 model when I had my '94 ZX9R. Now I am the proud owner of two E2 series ZX9R's. I just have a soft spot for the 9. It's more comfortable and more powerful too. It's a total Beast ! Keep safe and enjoy it bro.
The paint and plastics are all original. The decals were original but I had to replace them with replicas that are identical with the originals. Since then I replaced the levers too and put 12K more on the bike. It runs awesome and love it.
As the owner of a 1998 CBR 900RR, I appreciate your effort to keep this magnificent machine running. Excellent work bro !!
Thank you. I love the Fireblade and I'm planning to get one also .
I have both the 1998 yellow fireblade and the yellow and black zx7r. They are awesome motorcycles.
Been riding bikes since 1984. Had my P5 for 17 years…says it all…Built like a tank, superb handling, gorgeous looks & an infectious induction roar.
Respect my friend!

I have a 2003. Last year for the 750. Mine is in perfect condition. I’ve owned it from 2006.

Because it wasn't a hit back in the day
I love these oldschool superbikes. I have a GSX-R 750 from '94.
The ZX-7R has one of the best looking front ever!
Next on my list is the GSX-R, the 900RR Fireblade and the YZF750.
@@kawamaniaczx7r would prefer the Yamaha R1 instead of the YZF750

Well I own one now
What a beauty! To me, Zx7's are the best looking bikes of all time. I had a black '98 with a Hindle. Super stable, fast and sounded amazing!
Hi mate, love the bike, love the presentation, love your accent. Keep it going from over the pond in Scotland
Thank you sir ☺️

About to pick up my first ZX
Wish me luck
Parabéns pela motoca ! Tenho uma Zx9R 2000 e estou muito feliz com ela

Dude, nice commentary!
Can't believe you didn't fire it up...would have been nice to hear I'm sure.
Thanks, check out my other videos for sound. I will be filming a dedicated video soon just for the exhaust sound.
Great 🥊 machine 🏁
Beautiful
I forgot how much room there was under the back seat on older bikes. I can barley fit a gift card under my aprilia lol
Beautiful bike man 👌🏻🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful. The bent brake lever should be replaced to be perfect!
Thanks. Yes, it will be. I'm looking for stock parts.
😅 I also saw it

I am thinking of purchase this type of bike , it will be my first bike. What you think of getting this bike as a beginner/inexperienced driver. ?

There so much fun it’ll be hard to keep the miles off of.
I agree.
Nice bike! Did you hydrodip yourself or let someone do it?
Thanks. Someone else who does it as a business.
Did you buy it like this and if not, how much did you spend?

I got the 98 r1 red/white.
Can buy a 96 zx7r now.
Is it wurth it to buy or can,t the r1 be matched?
Completely different bikes in my opinion.
Hi, could you please tell me where you found these decals?
From here. Great stuff and excellent service. www.bike-stickers.com/homepage.htm
When people don't know to call out a Super bike type they just say its a Ninja regardless what manufacturers they are
Probably the coolest name out there next to the Fireblade.
Ya in quebec everyone calls a superbike a ninja
@@kawamaniaczx7r yeah I have 2014 CB1000R that has a detune Fireblade engine
