- Arsenal Women head coach Jonas Eidevall says his side "has everything it takes" to win England's Women's Super League next season.
Speaking Wednesday at an event in Melbourne, Australia where Arsenal will play a friendly later in the week against a domestic selection, the Swedish boss said that despite winning the League Cup this past year, disappointments in the FA Cup, WSL and Champions League has motivated the club for next season.
Arsenal finished third in the WSL this past season, five points behind champions Chelsea and second-place Manchester United.
But Eidevall lamented what he said was the WSL's focus on goal accumulation, saying it forces coaches to sacrifice the giving younger players valuable playing time in exchange for more experienced goal scorers.
Arsenal will face an Australian A-League Women's All Star selection in a friendly in Melbourne on Friday.
