- Today we head to NTTR where A-10 Thunderbolt II's assigned to the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron out of Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, conducted weapons testing of multiple platforms, including the AGM-65 Maverick missile. The 422nd TES is a geographically separated unit of the 53rd Test and Evaluation Group, Eglin AFB, Florida.

I could just sit and watch A-10 tasking all day.
You can! Barry Goldwater range in AZ has tours. Just watch some practice the other day
@@cjohnston6829 Damn I'm going to look into this!
The A-10 doing what it does best. A remarkable display of firepower.
3:03 The amount of ricochets make it sound like the shot was edited in post production in some sound design studio -- but nope, all beautiful, raw sounds.
Such destructive force, feels good man xD
I especially love this fact with the GAU avenger : "If you hear the BRRRRRRRT it wasn't for you."
The quality in this video is just .... insane!
3:00 Remember folks, those are bullets.
*Paint It Black intensifies*
i wish there was a camera angle of the a10 coming in and you could see the missile being fired and hitting the target
Not only does it look cool it sounds super cool as well.
in war thunder it would be just a Hit
Certainly no bias, not possible..
3:48 _plop_
Even at slo mo speed it happens super quick!
damn that precision..
What type of Maverick were those?
Bros when they unlock the Reaper on MW3
The best tank killer tool.

Mur’ca
Fucking cool missile system. 😀😀
Send some to Ukraine
doew anybody have an idea of where exactly in the NTTR this footage was recorded ?
alright, nevermind, this is at range 62 (dog bone lake) near Creech AFB
Somewhere in the Majove Desert on the west coast of the US. Probably Arizona, California Utah or Nevada
@@warthy4889 is this the heavy G version or are the targets fueled for the spectacle?
@@Tattlebot Looks like there's some JDAMs mixed in as well
Maverick forever.....
Ahh, they should've used high SPL microphones.
Every time an AGM-65 is fired the lanyard must be retrieved because of the gold it contains.
3:48 if what made the water splash hit someone in the face, it'd really fuck their day up.
True Lies undersold the effectiveness for sure
