    Blessed. For everyone who likes the leaves for tea... My family has also used the fresh picked leaves to make a cheese. Put 3 large fresh leaves in 4 liters of warmed milk, stir and leave in and watch the curds separate from whey to make cheese. When curdled take out leaves and finish the cheese processdraining and salting. It leaves a very pleasant flavor and makes a good unique farmers cheese and tasty whey. Not a new concept, you should try it. It is especially tasty if you eat the cheese with fresh tasty fig fruits and honey❣️We also slice the fresh leaves and put them in soups and stews. This is a very good start to using the fig leaves for tea and even more efficient use of this fabulous tree for nutrition 😋. Thanks for your nice video, I hope you try my shared information too.

    They dry faster covered with a linen cloth. Cloth keeps the bugs away, absorb moisture and protects the leaves from direct sun. Sun-dried botanicals loose their medicinal properties.

    I have a fig tree in my garden and we just realised the benefits. Thank you for this information. I prefer to wash the leaves, then boil them. Please advise if we can store them in the fridge and for how long. God bless.

      Thank you for watching and I have another video on how to make fresh fig tea ruclips.net/video/NNtkH8nASnE/видео.html. You can store fig leaves in fridge but it can't last long like when you dry it. You can take two or three fig leaves and wash it and then storeit in the fridge and that will help you to know how long it will last in the fridge,

    If you take off all the leaves what about photosensinsive? I probably spelled that wrong.

      You can keep the top leaves on the tree for photosynthesis and harvest the lower leaves. But if you are harvesting the leaves at the end of the season then no need for photosynthesis.

    I have two little fig trees the leave of one of them is going brown, can I use it for tea?

    • @eretabegardens
      @eretabegardens  Год назад +1

      It is better to use the green leaf because of the medicinal benefit.
