Uhm there are quite a lot of "average" Black Capetonians that enjoy the city, yes a lot of Black people in Cape Town are poor and come from the Eastern Cape, but so is a lot of Coloured people from Cape Town, even some White people. Basically if you poor you cannot enjoy the city to its fullest potential, like someone middle class or rich.
@@dawoodwilliams3652 thank you tell them. I'm a black Capetonian and I have enjoyed the city. Actually, if you go during the December holiday you will see how many black Capetonians who have saved for the holiday enjoy themselves. And yes there are poor white people too contrary to many people's beliefs
In assidiously reading A Long Walk , Nelson Mandela' s autobiography, he asserted that he maintained a discipline routine whilst residing in jail. They played chess, he offered legal advice, read books excessively, made good comrades, and had kept a discipline mind. Yet- he forgive his eneimes.
Jermaine- watching this Robben Island brings back sad recollections of what I read about apartheid. I do not think the Truth and Reconciliation really helped the Blacks economically and with housing. [ I should say some!]
Yoyoyo, another day another adventure. That view of Table Mountain from Robben Island is just priceless.
Taurai Stuart Ziwewe Shuwa ❤️
Can you imagine residing in that awful milieu, Robben Island Jail, for 27 years? God bless Nelson Mandela.
Mandela spent 18 years in Robben island and 9 years in Constitution Hill Prison
Cape town is seriously beautiful. I wish the average black Capetonian could really enjoy it too
Conquest Media pardon my ignorance . How come black Capetonians cannot enjoy the Cape Town?

Robben Island is no place to celebrate, it's is a great tragedy and a place to mourn......
Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 years in total, but not all of them in Robben Island. There he stayed for 18 years.
Yo, yo, yo Jermaine thank you for the Robben Island Museum tour, it seems (if you're not already) could probably be a Descriptive Author too 💃.
Awesome you met up with a subscriber!
What a phenomenal splendid view of Table Mountain and the moving waters! Awesome!
It was really a sad situation back then ...makes me sooo mad ..along with the prison system today
Lol! Bars, bars, bars! Life behind bars!
Wow. You got to visit Nelson Mandela's prison? What a big discovery
Cape Town is beautiful. I have just been there and I too went to Robben Island. The boat I was on was the Madiba1.
One bed
One pillow case
by myself
Ain't nobody write me
Great video. I feel like Martin Luther King would have been president one day if he lived. He was 11 years younger than Mandela. 👀👍
How much was the boat ride to Robben Island? In USA dollars?
Jermaine what are your thoughts and observations of post apartied as a tourist?
Closest you’ve been to Antarctica! Was the penguin and seal dead? Very nice , glad you had a nice time!
25 years later and apartheid is still happening.
Just been to Cape Town, jewel of a place
My homey goes to Robben Island... Awesome!
Emotional place.
Was there about a month ago. The testimonials in the cells hit hard.
@Mellivora Capensis racist
A play area? 😂 ☠️

Of course they did not go into much details about Robert Sobukwe. Izwelethu
Where you there? Have you been there?
@@missbstuurman not on that day
U need to move to Johannesburg! ✊✌👌👍🤘🤙

Damn, always get the indignation with such injustice
I think that seal was dead. : (
Is this in Cape Town ?
A little. Island off the City of Cape Town. A 45 minute boat ride away.
People were tortured there. A certain decorum should be observed when visiting places such as this.
Or soccer or football ehh you guys got wht am saying. Yoyoyo
Title is so weird lol
