I feel like Ollie’s is cheap on some things, but others are about the same. Saving $10 on a vacuum cleaner is one thing, but $1 on lower quality K-Cups is the other.
Ollie’s is such a good store if you’re a book reader like me, someone who prefers hardbacks. Hardbacks are unfortunately always so expensive though and usually are priced anywhere between $30-40. Ollies though is a store that usually picks up the extra product that warehouses might have gotten too much of. Like I went there one day just to browse and ended up finding two hardbacks that have been on my list for a long time. Both books would have been $30 each in an Amazon or Barnes & Noble. But al Ollie’s I got them for $5 each. Both freshly printed and out of the factory and in perfect condition Ollie’s is great 👍
I actually got my wedding dress at an Ollie's and now the idea of Ollie himself picking out my wedding dress is sending me lmao thank you Lucas for that image
Omg. 😂 I can’t believe the fact that EVERY Ollie’s I’ve ever been to smells and looks like a REALLY crowded garage and I’m 99.9% sure that they’re NOT having a “Buy out”. 😅
I grew up in Sweetwater, Texas and have been to the Rattlesnake Roundup over a dozen times! It has gotten bigger every year and has a food festival, carnival rides, beer, and live music. I think it would be awesome if you and Lucas would consider checking it out! Potential video idea for March/April 2025?
Love my local Ollie’s. Ours is only a few years old, so it is not as messy. You actually get good deals on things like hygiene products and breakfast cereal. Sadly, “Ollie” Rosenberg, one of the co-founders died in 1996 at age 75.
We used to have a literal carbon copy of this store in Toronto called “Honest Ed’s” straight down to the signs and absolute chaotic layout and complete randomness of products. It closed in 2016, but it was open for over 60 years.
We had a store in Massachusetts called Building 19 that literally had the same style art, slogan, and types of items for sale as Ollie's. I'm wondering if they were all owned by the same people.
Have you thought about reliving your childhood and going to the great Wolf 🐺 Lodge. They have an awesome waterpark, tons of activities, and if that gets boring, you could take pictures with the characters.
i finally went to an ollie's bargain outlet after watching so many videos on youtube, that's why it was exciting. i also really liked the products in the store. the cashier was wearing a mask i thought it was Nathan and I was on a Nathan For You skit.
Also idk what’s up with y’all’s Ollie’s bathroom. I was a stock attendant/cashier and I also had to clean the bathrooms every morning, and vacuum and sweep the whole store
I grew up with an Ollie's not far from me. The last time I was there, the cashier dude was being really pushy with the store card to the point it made me super uncomfy. I haven't gone back since, but now I'm thinking about taking a trip there. I really like their book section, but there is so much other stuff. It's like a theme park for me, living in the middle of nowhere.
my grandma used to take us, my family is from Michigan, so when I saw they’re in college towns in the south I got so excited😭😭😭 like i thought it was just a michigan and midwest thing
Back in my 20s, I used to work at a clothing chain called Ragstock in Minneapolis. We made our own signs, too! I always thought it made the store seem more "fun". Plus it was a good excuse to do arts and crafts on the clock. 😊
We had the same place in New England back in the day l! It was then called Building 19: Good Stuff Cheap. That’s so awesome! You both make me so happy!
LOL I love how you edit/the things you say. "Ollies over there in the corner rubbing his hands together, lets by everything and sell it for CHEAP!" LOL Had my dying this morning
A buttload is a barrel that holds 126 gallons. I think it came from the French word botte but basically a unit of measurement for barrels of liquor/wine
i need y’all to go to the dirt cheap stores. we have some in arkansas and it has a ton of high end brands for so cheap. it’s definitely chaotic and feels like a job shopping there but it’s worth it for the good deal
My grandpa loves Ollie's, so I had to go there once. No idea why, but the vibes are so weird there, like Ollie is constantly watching you. Finding the bathroom felt like traveling through the backrooms (it was at the end of a long hallway for some reason). It was a strange experience, but hey, at least the books were extremely cheap.
The way I've been in ollies so much but never noticed the catch phrases on the wall?? Went after I saw this and found physician's formula and fall scents bodycology 😊 also champion hoodie for $10
i’m sorry but the first dog was the “squirrel” from the fred movie & i laughed OUT LOUD, even when i’m 45 i’ll see something that reminds me of that movie & laugh
While "buttload" may be a rough estimation of a large amount, there is a unit of measure for mass called a butt. It's an old unit first used in medieval times, but it's hardly more precise than "buttload." A butt is a cask that holds liquids, like a barrel.
We used to have a place kind of like this in Toronto called Honest Ed's, and it was named after Ed Mirvish and it was very well loved and very old and vintage and a HUGE tourist draw and now it's gone after 60 years :(
there was a store that looked almost exactly like this in the early 2000's in New England called, "Building 19". it was the same premise; a store that had a bunch of junk in it from closing businesses and liquidations, with the same dull walls. there was a mascot with a buzz cut and glasses on every sign with cartoony font. i just found out that i guess some Ollie's bought Bldg 19 when they went bankrupt
my childhood ripleys trauma, i forget what year the book was but there was a page that had a story about a dog that got stuck inside of a tree and died and became mummified and the picture gave me nightmares for so long.
Commenting again.. because why not. I found some real decent books there, at the location in Bristol, TN. I got a book about birds for $5. Some kid's books for my family for around $3-$4 each.. and some nice gift bags.
Ty for the tip. I have one of these stores in my area but never have gone there before because I figured it was just way bigger items than what dollar general or dollar tree sells. I love books too! I get them for me and my grandkids so now I will be stopping at Ollie’s to check out their book section. Also, if you have an Aldi’s grocery store in your area they have the Best import wines anywhere. Along with import chocolates too. Oh, and they always have fresh cut flowers at the check out that are really pretty and fresh and cheap. Js!

The beauty section at ollies is crazy. Also the shipshewana amish love story😭 i was recently at the flea market there and there was an amish love story movie ad on a building
so the reason everything looks messy there is because it's an overstock store, which purchases items from brands that are discontinued, not selling, etc. it's why the stock is always changing.
22:33 😂😂😂😂 I fuckin love these guys!!!!❤ 🎉 They are my favorite! 23:36😂😂😂😂💀💀🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣🥰😍 Wait" How do in the Hell Did you know My Mom has that problem!!!!
Discount stores are my Achilles’ heel. As soon as I walk in, I need things I never thought about once in my life.
Fr there’s always a random gadget or something that you just have to get 😂
I never leave with anything I always get grossed out how dirty these things are 😂
I feel like Ollie’s is cheap on some things, but others are about the same. Saving $10 on a vacuum cleaner is one thing, but $1 on lower quality K-Cups is the other.
Marshals just does it for me honestly it really is my kryptonite
I work at a Marshalls and I have to leave my wallet at home lol

Ollie’s is great 👍
u don’t understand how bad i needed bros content rn
🫂
"They just hate women succeeding" Jacob is so based. ❤
That made me smile too!!
I actually got my wedding dress at an Ollie's and now the idea of Ollie himself picking out my wedding dress is sending me lmao thank you Lucas for that image
Really!? I had no idea they carried wedding dresses!
Ollie looks like Einstein and this store is genius. Thank you for experiencing the benches.
Forget Deadpool and Wolverine, Jacob and Lucas are the true lovable duo of the summer
"She's out to dinner somewhere and we're in a closet coloring her" Jacob this is why I love you. I have those same exact thoughts.
I always tell my friends that I like you because you are safe, washable, and non-toxic.
And the bro show is back this week is giving
Omg !?
It’s a Christmas miracle
I work an Ollie’s and I freaked out as soon as this was posted 😂
Lmaoo same
FINALLYYYY SOMEONE IS INVESTIGATING OLLIES. I have been talking about this damn store for YEARS
WE HERE GILRIES
AND GAYS WE HERE TOO
Gilries lol. That's in Jacob spelling
there's something quite Backrooms about a big old discount store, i love it 😂
I unironically love Ollie’s so I screamed when I saw this
Sameeee 😅
Omg. 😂 I can’t believe the fact that EVERY Ollie’s I’ve ever been to smells and looks like a REALLY crowded garage and I’m 99.9% sure that they’re NOT having a “Buy out”. 😅
The way that I experienced an Ollie's the first time exactly two years ago to the date. I love you guys! Ive been watching for years!!!
I was literally just balling my eyes out cause ya know life! Jacob, lucas you're the empaths we all needed!!
I just stop crying after watching tooo twins🎉😛

This is my sign to go to Ollie’s. I recently moved to an area with one. I didn’t know it was a chain. I drive by it often.
you and Lucas are my comfort RUclipsrs 💖
Thissssssss
I nominate my friend's cat, OLLIE.. to take over as mascot. He's an orange tabby cat. :D 🐈🐈
The KY Jelly and brush on the floor is giving me the fear.
it was the dookie crumbles on the seat that did it for me
THEY DO JUST HATE SEEING WOMEN SUCCEED THANK YOU JACUB
Whenever jacob uploads a video it’s like the warmest hug at the end of the day

I worked at an Ollies for less than a year…his cartoon face and the Ollie’s chant haunts me to this day 😅
Also idk what’s up with y’all’s Ollie’s bathroom. I was a stock attendant/cashier and I also had to clean the bathrooms every morning, and vacuum and sweep the whole store

“You wanna be cremated?” Lucas with the seamless comedy 😂
my grandma used to take us, my family is from Michigan, so when I saw they’re in college towns in the south I got so excited😭😭😭 like i thought it was just a michigan and midwest thing
I kinda lost it when Jacob said Ollie was kinda of hot, thanks I needed that 😂
Back in my 20s, I used to work at a clothing chain called Ragstock in Minneapolis. We made our own signs, too! I always thought it made the store seem more "fun". Plus it was a good excuse to do arts and crafts on the clock. 😊
Ollie is everywhere. He's so julia.
Dang that is the nicest Ollie's I've ever seen!
As a Pennsylvanian (home of Ollie's), this hits just right.
the days you guys post for us are my favorite. i love your editing so much.
excited for lucas' video too!
We had the same place in New England back in the day l! It was then called Building 19: Good Stuff Cheap. That’s so awesome! You both make me so happy!
There’s an Ollies in Vermont near where I live! Idk if there are other locations around the state or New England
Ollie's branding is on point! He wants to let us know about everything we didn't know we needed!
LOL I love how you edit/the things you say. "Ollies over there in the corner rubbing his hands together, lets by everything and sell it for CHEAP!" LOL Had my dying this morning
It’s always a good day when Jacob uploads a new video 🫶🤷♀️
saw the pups & i immediately thought of the neighborhood squirrels 🐿️

A buttload is a barrel that holds 126 gallons. I think it came from the French word botte but basically a unit of measurement for barrels of liquor/wine

14:30 not ripley's believe it or not owning jesus' body BAHAHAHA
You should google Ollie’s founder, it’s Oliver E who they based the character off of. And it’s such an accurate representation of him
Ollie with a full beat! We see you Ollie!

I love Ollies! And i love watching you guys too! Thx for making me laugh.

I have a few Ollie’s stores in my neck of the woods- it usually slaps. I get all my toothpaste and lightbulbs there. Super glam
Ollie's is pretty glam. camera, lights and flashes sorta
@@jacobcruik one time I even thought I saw Jennifer Aniston in there. But it turns out it was their assistant manager Maureen

omfg, its my birthday today, and new videos! And you said my name, Amanda. Elevated and thriving in NZ
happy birthday Amanda!
4:35 i think you meant boat load babes 😂
I work at a library.. I, too, was shocked by the selection of Amish romance novels. Multiple authors too! Same exact thing I said when I noticed

It’s all your fault that they toned down the Ripley’s books!
You bros remind me of my favourite podcasters! oh wait, you are! BRO SHOW SHAWTIES 4 LYFE! 🥰🙌😤

Jacob has an amazing imagination. Like the whole story about Taylor Swift pooping her pants was so thought out 😂
The beauty section at ollies is crazy. Also the shipshewana amish love story😭 i was recently at the flea market there and there was an amish love story movie ad on a building
I love that u went to another room to film the stuff u bought. Bros really try hard for us 😌
so the reason everything looks messy there is because it's an overstock store, which purchases items from brands that are discontinued, not selling, etc. it's why the stock is always changing.
loved/hated flipping through Ripley's books as a kid! i definitely remember the grossness being a huge factor of my distaste.
It’s 3am and I just saw a UFO… watching the cruik brothers to calm myself down 😮💨
“MY KID’S HAVING NIGHTMARES ABOUT THE LIZARD GUY!!!😭🤬😤”
Never thought I'd see my job on Jacob's channel 😭🤣 not this Ollie's but I work at one
This actually has the best advertisement slogans I've read..the photos also. But for usa is maybe old now..saaad, lets have more fun stores
22:33 😂😂😂😂 I fuckin love these guys!!!!❤ 🎉 They are my favorite! 23:36😂😂😂😂💀💀🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣🥰😍 Wait" How do in the Hell Did you know My Mom has that problem!!!!
