I've always felt it would be easier for him to play top. The game is a lot slower up there so he can commentate without pressure. I always hate it when he's too busy talking to us about lane match ups and the build of the day causing him to not notice his laner roaming or dragon/herald fight

I am happy to be among the few who enjoy the silly builds. Next time you're feeling like trying something out, how about MS Anivia? Electrocute + Boots + approach velocity for your runes. Luden's, Lich bane, and Mandate/Cosmic for the core items. Horizon focus is always good on her, too. The key is that Lich bane's cool down is about the same as her E. R procs luden's and approach velocity for extra speed. Then E, auto, reposition, repeat for a steady stream of damage. MS diff and kite to victory!

Before some changes, I had a lot of fun with Yorick Jungle. Has decent clear time, chews through epic monster hp with maiden, powerfarms jungle after maiden, and has ok ganks for not having "hard cc" (btw, scuttle bonus dmg is applied if you bump it with the edge of W, so that gets done pretty fast too).
Is this the best Yorick build from all Yorick builds? For me, of course it is. I did enjoy his grievous and intimidating presence on map. I would like to see more spells down on targets, so those devious small tanks would be released flying. 😈
I do this build quite often only problem is Yorick is squishy as hell for a top laner , if you run into a tryndere or Jax and even Warwick ,Irelia basically any champ that can get out of your W you basically dead , but pushing power from titanic and the ghouls is insane. As long as you don't have a team that runs it down you can pretty much take all the towers .
Biggest point to not bother with this build. Its funny for a big Maiden hp bar sure, but the mist walker hp bar is worthless. ANY Single target attack, even an auto attack, will kill it in ONE Shot. 1, UNO, SINGULAR. HIT, deletes a mist walker. So any champion like say Jinx, would have a field day for you trying to do this. Please keep this in mind for anyone thinking this is truly viable. Know your enemies.
Yorick actually isn't counted by marksmen in top lane. Very early levels are rough but his kit allows him to get on them and lock them down. Approach Velocity synergizes with his E very well for getting on top of ranged champs. The only other thing is with Yorick ghouls; yes their HP scales based on Yorick's but they die in one auto attack regardless of what their HP is.
I think enemy went all top because you global-taunted them by mentioning Pok*mon. That ARAT (y'know, all random all top) was so fun to watch. Asking for a tank Cassiopeia (on the Rift or the Abyss). Days asked: 286, days skipped: 7, winrate: 97.611% She deserves a Heartsteel build! Core items: Archangel's, Heartsteel OR Iceborn Gauntlet, Demonic OR new Riftmaker OR new Liandry's Situational items (pick some): new Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Abbysal Mask, Spirit Visage OR Force of Nature, Gargoyle Stoneplate OR new Jak'Sho, Frozen Heart, Warmog's, pretty much any new tank item Primary runes: Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth OR standard Conqueror. Secondary runes: Manaflow, Gathering Storm OR Presence of mind, Last stand. Extra facts: You want Archangel's first, because Cass is so mana hungry. Gauntlet might work, because with E you'll proc it often. Heartsteel will easily proc because you're ranged and fast. For the same reason Rylai's will be excellent for kiting, just like bruiser Ashe. this is my favorite build in all of league and the main reason i was able to climb from bronze to gold with a 70% winrate on yorick... i am sad to see that hydra will lose the passive next season though.
I'm also sad, but titanic hydra is currently the most broken item in the game. Every time I play ADC I built titanic bruiser. You still deal a ton of damage, but you're also unburstable. Even if a Rengar jumps on your head it's not immediate respawn timer for you.

In this build you should go GA for the last, so when you die, the Maiden keeps making damage.
My favorite thing is when Zwag has a summoning ult and he talks to the creature, like the Maiden of Daisy.
