- Hi friends! Ahh, well as 2019 draws to an end I thought I would share with you my end-of-year routine. It’s to do with setting personal goals for the following year, specifically using Law of Attraction. I’ve been following this since 2006, after reading a book called The Secret. It’s sort of freaky, but it works!
So this is how I get what I want out of life (and you can use Law of Attraction for non-material items too). I thought I would share with you my 2020 vision board and some of my personal goals.
If there are things that have been getting you down over the last year (or even decade) now is the time to dump all of that trash in 2019 - don’t let it follow you into the next decade! :)
I hope this helps and inspires any of you who are wanting to make real change to any aspects of your life (finances, relationships, career, health, lifestyle etc)

Money can buy freedom from student debt, medical debt, homelessness, and starvation. It can buy better health, and leisure as well. I fell like it can buy happiness, in a way. The folks who say that money doesn't buy happiness at all usually have never struggled much in their life, and they never had to worry about money.

I’ve never done a vision board, but when I was 20 I wrote down all of the traits that I wished for a spouse to have and then promptly forgot about it. I then dated people who were nothing like these traits, but then I met my husband and married him three years later. I found the list about five years after we were married and my husband had every trait I had listed on that list 10 years before.
Vision boards and the law of attraction works. It won’t work without help, but it does work.
How did you write it down? Did you put I want such n such in a husband or did you just write a bunch of words?
@@munchkineatsalotvent9899 probably just a simple list titled something like husband. I have several lists like that in the back of my notebooks. To me they don't seem to work also because of not having picked another kind of hubby. So in that sense this comment is essential. Know what you really want. I got thw beautiful but a bit too carefree hubby lol. But having lists keeps me going. In my case more about the journey and never reaching is sometimes ok.

I would actually love to have more financial advice videos from you. You seem like a very put-together kind of person. I do hate those yappy instagram-princess 13 year old lifestyle gurus who only can afford it cuz daddy gave it to her. And financial advice videos are always geared towards cutthroat, type A sharks. You are not a shark. You are nice, well-spoken, and honest. I really appreciate that.

Retirement in 2019 was a gift. Now I pick and choose what I do and who I treat. 2020 is my year of new adventures.have used vision boards my entire career since 1985. Always helped me focus to achieve goals.
Sophie I love your board...one suggestion - change “negative people” to attracting Positive People. Remember you get MORE of what you focus on...you don’t want to attract negative people. 🌻

Weird but true. I did a vision board MANY years ago and I left it hung in my closet. For many years when I was cleaning one day I looked at it and laughed cuz I had 80% of the stuff I wanted on it.

You are the 3rd Vlogger, I've watched this week that has mentioned the "Law of Attraction"! I was taught that Principle a long time ago! And for those who are Religious & feel this might be kind of "Weird" to take on as a "Belief", let me say this...there are SEVERAL places in the Bible that mentions about the way you think affecting your Life for good or bad! You definitely draw those things to you that you concentrate on! Positive & Negative Energies MATTER & can even affect Wellness or Sickness in your Life & even Future Generations, who follow you! So does the Things you SAY, bc Creative Power is in The Tongue (whether Good or Bad)

Sophie, I LOVE it when you do videos about money and debt. I think it makes your luxury purchasing videos seem more balanced. It would be neat to hear quarterly updates on visions/ goals that you are willing to share. Much like a "favorites" video. Wishing you and your husband a happy holiday! It's true! back in 2017 I was working in an outsourcing for a startup located in sillicon valley, I live im Mexico, and when my american boss came out to visit us I asked him "one useful thing in life I should know" and he shared with me the secret. He said "I don't know how, but it works, I've living it since I knew about it, it's true" so I started wondering how can I use it in my life... Everything has been getting better since then. You just have to believe in yourself and keep focused on what you want. Thank you for sharing, I love to see how this works for everyone who believes in it.
The negative energies of negative people are very bad indeed. Unfortunately I have such people in my family. This takes a lot of positive power, affects the quality of life and can even make you sick! I believe that one of the most important things is that you stay away from such bad people and build up a circle of friends that radiate friendliness, warmth and joy of living.
I used to write important requests in a notebook. And I use a pin board for important thoughts and ideas.
I also hang sayings and quotes that inspire me on the wall. This can also give you strength every day.
I think the "Queen of swords" has also similarities to the star sign Scorpio. We are the fighting women. :)
Definitely agree with the" fighting women" statement,im a scorpio and I have always set goals for myself,even when people have told me things are impossible it makes me all the more determined to do them and succeed🎖🎉

Read and loved The Secret. I am a definite believer in vision boards. My mother always swore by a picture on the fridge and then vision boards became more fashionable.. Thanks for video.. I will go and redo my board for 2020. Live all your videos ❤️

I saw the movies The Sectret and What the Bleep Do We Know when I was battling breast cancer for he second time in my life, in 2007. That was what got me through times of disbelief, doubt and fear, when I felt hopeless.
“Thoughts become things” and “a thought can be changed” - a quote by Louise Hay are always my pit stops, when I feel stuck and need to regroup.
So, if anyone still has doubts, try it, it might help you.

I have had a terrible childhood. But using the law of attraction, I have built quite a good life for myself. I have been doing this unknowingly since my early teenage years. So when I read The Secret 2 years ago, I was freaked out and was like, wait I have been doing this all along haha It felt good 😊
Also, since you believe in the law of attraction, I would suggest reading As a man thinketh. it's an old ass book but my oh my, it's a hidden gem 🙏

I always make goals each year but after watching one of your previous videos, I've started creating a vision board. It's crazy how the Law of Attraction works, I've achieved so much this past year and looking back I can't quite believe it. Especially when at the beginning of the year I didn't know how some of those goals would be achieved! Your videos have helped me feel super motivated for another amazing year ahead!

I am always here to get inspired, although i cant afford the beautiful items, i have learned a lot with you. I can be your mother, but i still use some of your advices and suggestions, and they work. Hi Sophie, thank you so much for sharing! I started my own vision board after watching your videos and it really helps with keeping my goals on track. I never realised how many things I keep saying I'll do or get, but the push it back due to "not needing it now" or just forgetting it. But the things I wanted never really changed. Seeing the board forced me to work towards it and boy the satisfaction of taken things down after achieving it! I can visually see m life moving forward now and it feels great. THANK YOU!
I read this book called "You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life" by Jen Sincero, and the main thing I took away from it went something like "Your job is to know the What, not the How."
Best video of you tube for 2019. Sophie love from Malaysia once again. I too have evolved with this theory. I too read a few pages of the secret and went dang! they have put this in a book been doin it without knowing it. But I did read the Alchemist n that was a moment of opening my third eye. "Whatever that enchants you will also guide and protect you." " The Universe will conspire to make it happen" something like that. My journey as a medical dr too has been quite a tumultuous one but OMG everything happened as I imagined it. It's like you have to arrive there even before u have.. Bach another one of fav authors. Anyway, will stop this raving n wish you and your hubby a great year ahead. A one filled with peace ,happiness and health, the rest will happen organically. A very merry Christmas to you both.
Thank you for sharing your board! My therapist told me to make one for next time and I'm getting sloppy, this was a perfect reminder to sit and do it. It does work, I find that we all get whatever we *think we deserve*, nothing more, nothing less. For me it's always the trying to Think I deserve more, because my upbringing kind of made me start from a point where I'm okay with little and I don't think I'm deserving of anything more than the bare minimum.
I love your perception of things regarding material possessions and work, but I also liked the idea of adding negative people to the list. I forget that I can add all kinds of stuff, not only physical things. And I do find I have trouble with the material stuff, I have to debate myself whether or not I Need or Deserve it. I have had a lot of progress in the past 2 years though.
I liked the concept of not wanting to pinpoint where you'll be in five years and here's why. From my POV, I am *this* person now, but I keep changing. If I know what kind of person I will be 5 years from now, and what kind of things she'll want, sure, I'll write that down. But I don't want, and the beauty is in discovering yourself, step by step.
I was a very miserable person just 3 years ago, in a poor relationship, in a crappy mood, unaware of an illness I was literally creating in my body. I am thankful for the process of getting to here, and I am also thankful for small things like this video along the way. Thank you!
My mom is a therapist and she always told me that when you want something deeply and that you try your hardest to make it happen it will happen. She says that it is the "energies" like imagine i say in my head i will have a good grade at that test and i really believe in what i am saying then at that test i will have a good grade. You uses the term « the law of attraction » my mom uses « the energies » and another youtuber i follow say that it’s the « +=+ rule » a lot of different name for the same belief. I strongly believe in that state of mind however i never did a vision board in my life and i am now really considering doing my own so thank you so much for your video. This is so weird because I was saying to my best friend yesterday that I was really starting to believe in the lawvof attraction. Thanks, in part, to your brilliant videos. And now I've just seen this! And my life is going so well in terms of my job because I'm really believing that if I work hard, I can acheive what I want. And it's working already! I have a vision board on my computer and it was inspiring for me to hear about all your goals/dreams that came true when you were able to find your previous input/images/notebooks. This type of sharing is GREAT....! Don't feel bad for speaking about this. The people that need/want it will find it! :D OH.... one of my goals is to travel to London and pay you for a day of taking me to all the incredible shopping places for a new wardrobe. Lunch and dinner included and my driver keeping us from having to worry about parking.... and that's just ONE of my goals! :D

Every year I write my goals down and this motivates me to go for what I want. Right now I am starting my board. Lets see if this doubles the "law of attraction." Another book to read is "how to be, do or have anything." worked for me.

I enjoy the financial advice videos. As much as I love the luxury shopping videos, I cringe sometimes because I worry some watching might go into debt for such things but hopefully they’re not.
Loved ur video! I have seen ur earlier videos on luxury bags etc but this one I felt was very realistic n spates inspiration to go after our dreams!!Would love to see more such videos towards achieving personal goals n success n how to pull oneself out when situations pull us down!!
