Y'know, Ruby does deserve her own game..! Funny thing is though, she's a rejected concept character originally meant for Darkstalkers. Kinda sucks she wasn't in MvC3, though this may be due to rate of popularity.
Kind of hope they will add her in Darkstalkers if they ever make another installment to the series.

whoever did the bass tracks for the Marvel Vs Capcom Soundtrack is awesome I love it especially for Ruby Heart's stages.

I was about 20 when this game came out. It's crazy the first time Insaw this bad boy with all these characters to choose from 3v3 combat all those sprites, colors sounds, music were just a kick in the head it definitely something I never saw before. Now in this day and age we have mugin games with op characters all thanks to this bad boy.

The days, when Marvel was bad ass still.. Such great memories, and LOVED the whole feel, and scene of the fighting games in the 90's, and early 00's.. I miss awesome Marvel, definitely creating my own universe, influenced by the great stuff, I loved about Marvel growing up... And of course all of the great Japanese influences I had growing up as well. This track definitely influenced a comic/game I put together with friends in school. Started going back into it, in 2017 to rework it. I had actually used Final Fantasy XV Comrades, to make the main character, as my avatar and got him looking spot on except the hair a bit, and obviously the clothing lol.
Yeah, these were indeed the good ol days in so many ways.
Hope you're still working on building your own fictional universe. I'm actually doing the same. These days there are actually people ready for something new to be entertained and pulled by, and indie is the way to go for many creatives. So if you (or anyone else here) got a calling to start building your own original universe, do so. We have plenty of platforms and ways to help us. Best of luck! :)

I was very excited about what Eric July accomplished, with his Rippaverse, if you've ever heard of him.
Currently working on the bible for the world, it makes everything so much easier. First series would be the little comic I drew as a kid, and game I made with friends later. I had called it, "The Stardust Wolves- Armaments of Volition".
Years ago in school, the RPG based on the comic, was heavily inspired by Chrono Trigger, no time travel though, you traveled different planets (only 4 at the time). We had the game looking like Guilty Gear, the first game, PS1. Never got to finish it, because I spent time in the hospital , I learned about 7 years ago kids played it still, but were made it wasn't finished lol.
This is a portrait sketch of the main character. I have to do more of them (different emotions). My friend wants to use my old FFXV avatar of him to make his model in UE5. But to be honest, I think I'd want the game to maybe look more like Guilty Gear, we'll see and get feedback when that time comes.

C'mon Capcom, you can kill two birds with one stone. Make a new edition of your best fighter and include the best Marvel 2 original character.
I remember one time someone said this game plays too much jazz even though some stages don't play Jazz like Amingo stage an Abby's stage I'm like if that's the case why do Guilty Gear plays so much rock n roll.

Wow, I consider myself a video game music fanatic but I never actually sat and listened to MvC2's soundtrack even though I played the crap out of it. Then again, one's mind is always on the fighting instead in fighting games. Better late than never though, this is really smooth.
