    this is like the time in 1.9/early 2.0 when people found out that 144hz monitors were really good for making the game easier to play.

    1:54 okay so basically theres 2 features that are good for gd. One is rapid trigger which basically means u dont have to press the key down all the way for it to register the click. 2 is polling rate which basically means faster response time. (Someone can correct me if i am wrong) and also keyboards dont have both of those features and sayo is cheaper then a good keyboard which is like 100 dollers. Also i just got mine.. so good

    I actually NEED this Sayo Device because while I'm using my mouse, it is SUPER accurate but it is so painful and I actually think it is developing Carpel Tunnel in my hand. The Up Arrow on the other hand is the most inaccurate POS to ever exist for GD but It is so comfortable and I NEVER get pain. So the Sayo Device is Comfortable like a Up Arrow, but Accurate like a mouse. I need it for accessibility reasons lmao

    the reason its so popular is because it can have a 0.1mm actuation distance on both initial press and also release. search wooting rapid trigger for a more in depth explanation but thats basically it.

    proud user of an osu keypad for gd for the last year or so. Idk how the "sayo device" is different than just an osu keypad though. Edit: after looking into it, it looks like it might have rapid trigger switches that most osu keypads don't have which I think detect a release as soon as the key moves up rather than reaching an actuation point.

    • @txtronixgd7373
      @txtronixgd7373 Год назад +1

      Another edit: the fact that most people slam their keys down anyways means they probably wouldn’t find benefit from rapid trigger. Also I might be worried about buffering inputs since there are reports that small jitters can swap the state of the key from pressed to released depending on settings (higher the sensitivity the more responsive it would feel but also the more potential for losing an input from slight vibration etc)
      Microclicks are probably godly though🫣

    • @sweatytofu7144
      @sweatytofu7144 Год назад +1

      @@txtronixgd7373 as an osu player with the sayo device, the benefits are pretty massive. At first i was pretty bummed as, just as you said, i slam my keyes down fully and couldnt utilize rapid trigger. But even then one thing stood out to me which was the response time. The actuation point is so low that compared to a regular keyboard, there is definitely a noticeable amount of lower input so that your key presses feel more "raw" in a sense that it activates immediately when you tap it. It's hard to tell you how much faster it is as its kind of like a 60hz vs 144hz monitor situation where you have to try it to understand it.
      But besides for that, after further use, I adapted to rapid trigger and really noticed its effects (i just stopped slamming my keys down as hard). But idk how it would be of use to GD.
      Also for your concern about inputs, i just tweaked settings a bit as I did find rapid trigger to activate accidentally, so I just found the sweet spot for me so that slight movement doesnt activate it, and that it activates from small enough movements that are intentional. You can change each key individually, so key 1 can have diff settings to key 2 and key 3. They're by 0.05mm increments.
      Hope this helps clarifies some things.
      TLDR;
      - very fast input
      - rapid trigger needs you to adapt to
      - can change settings

    tbh, i think so long as you can get used to input delay than i don't really think that it would make that much of a difference but it is helpful and also generally more accurate than even top of the line keyboards, my experience with mouses is that when i got lower input delay mouses i was so used to the delay that i would be spending a lot of time just getting used to the switch but i think if you already use a low input delay mouse than it's not that crazy of a switch

    comparing a normal up arrow to the sayodevice is actually crazy because theres only 1 gaming keyboard that is comparably as good as the sayodevice and its the wooting for 200 dollars and the wooting isnt even 8k polling rate so even then the sayodevice is probably better, also it has the gateron red switches and if you know switches you'd know that every switch has a different feel some are heavy to click some are really light and the sayodevice is EXTREMELY light so it is very easy to spam on it which of course is really good for gd
