This has to be the videogame with the best soundtrack ever. NFS III Hot Pursuit was a great game, but this one was just perfect. Hours playing on my PlayStation, racing under water situation, there was a trick to have a cockpit view, another to turn on the lights, realistic driving. What else could you ask at those years (1999-2001)? I played Gran Turismo, Test Drive 5 but nothing compared to NFS High Stakes. Even after 18 years since it was released, the music still blasting the speakers, great memories.
NFS High Stakes was incredibly interactive for its time and the game basically had no flaws. It looked amazing, the gameplay was extremely fun, the music was great and it was possible to add more cars to it. To this day, it's still my #1 video game ever! So much fond memories of me playing it for hours.

In real life, yes indeed. In games, not really, but it give it a heck of an experience in any racing game.
