Are you looking for the difference between an Umrah visa and a tourist visa?
Both visas are valid for entry into Saudi Arabia but have different purposes. An Umrah visa is a special visa granted by the Saudi government to allow entry into the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah for the purpose of performing Umrah.
On the other hand, a tourist visa is a regular visa granted for 90 days for travel to Saudi Arabia for sightseeing, Umrah and leisure activities.

I went to Saudi on a tourist visa end of Dec 2022 on Egypt Airline returning to UK from Madina and there were no issues with taking Zam Zam water.

I have a question for one of my friends, if you have an idea or not.
.. he has tourists visa which will expire on a week's time. But he can not get another visa online because there is existing visa on his passport. He want stay 2 week in the kingdom with uk passport..
My question is do u know its possible to get a visa on arrival while u have existing evisa ..
Maybe you know or you come across this kind of issues since you are dealing with umrah for a while.. Also can you apply online while you are in Saudi Arabia when you current visa expires and you are still in the country or you have to leave the kingdom to reply....if you over stay in your days what could happen?
My friend is very concerned and he don't know what to do?? Any advice please 🙏

I am facing this issue right now but i am unable to find any amswer.
I will be exiting the country and come back and reapply at the airport.
If your friend Overstays, he will have to pay fine of 50-100 riyal per day at the time of exit
If you get any update regarding visa, please let me know. What I have heard so far is that you can only apply one tourist visa in one year but i am not sure how true that is.

To be honest with you we are still having same issue and no answer to be found.. my friend will probably have to pay the fine fee.
He wants to get another visa but the system won't let him... also he will ask when he arrives at airport
It is not the airline it is a mandate from GACA, one bottle per person and no zamzam in the luggage.
You cannot even buy zamzam with the tourist visa at the airport shop usually.
Any more details about shipping of zam zam?
Oh and P.S another aspect, the umrah visa allow u the use of free shuttle from jeddah airport to makkah haram.

very helpful video sister but small correction and it could be because English might not be your primary/mother language, just like me 😊 and its totally fine. So, correct words to use are not "Which visa to ISSUE" but actually "which visa to RECEIVE". For example you said at multiple places "how you guys can ISSUE the visa", correct wording is "How you guys can RECEIVE the visa from Saudi government". so basically Saudi Government ISSUES the visa, and we all are the RECEIVERS of Visa, hope that helps, Inshallah.
Salam sister just want to make sure I have understood. I am in the process of doing the e-visa I am from the UK with UK passport. In the terms and conditions it had a section stating that for umrah visits a separate visa needs to be completed on NUSUK website. I just want to confirm do I need to do this. It is quite confusing I must say. Can I complete umrah on this visa without going onto nusuk website?

From when to when is the umrah season? What is the latest date I can perform umrah with a tourist visa? I am about to book a flight ticket from 15th May to 30th May. But I am afraid that they will not let me into the kaaba to perform umfrah as in this moment it will be already Dhul qidah (1 month before hajj)

You can perform umrah anytime except during Hajj time. Best time to go personally for me, as a nurse working in Madinah, is December to April where the weather is cold. And during Ramadan.
if you got the tourist visa from Middle East (as stay in Middle East on employment visa), can you travel from your country (ind. /pak.) to saudia?

With some flights (from UAE) it gives a notice that we cannot travel without umrah visa on few flights i did not understand that part can anyone explain?

Salam. Insurance is haram, so you should not recommend to get even more insurance.
Going on holiday for tourism and fun is haram. I saw it in a hadith.

yes since he has active green card, check the tourist saudi site but I'm pretty sure it does.

where do you visit from? speak with a sheikh but when my father in law visited my husband in jeddah the imam told him he can wear it from the house because his first intention was to visit his son and then do umrah so it was the starting point. I don't know if this is correct so Allah knows and speak with a sheikh before deciding for yourself. Definitely don't want your umrah to not be accepted.

When i saw my visa my name was presented like my first name than my fathers name and then my last name. I have no idea how to correct it/cancel it or is it okay to visit with this visa. Yes it is. From what I have heard they check the passport on arrival so they see the names

You have maximum stay 90 days on tourist visa whether you stay those in one go or several visits.. This is actually generous and many countries have similar rules.
Can we apply for another tourist visa if we complete our 90 days ?
@That Girl when I asked the same question I was told NO. You will need to wait until your year expires ans then apply.
So if you stayed 90 days straight and you had 9 months left on the visa validity you will have to wait 🤷♀️
