That is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It’s as simple as that. What a thoroughly enjoyable walk - although I had to hold the edge of my seat while you ventured out on the promontories; as a lover of all things ocean, I was rapt for every one of the 42 minutes; now I know where it is I need to go - thank you so much Dave, that was simply wonderful.
This is another great walking tour around the Scottish countryside and seeing all of the historical places especially the old Sinclair castle and other awesome beautiful scenery there where you are walking especially the fantastic view out towards the sea, thanks for another wonderful walk and tour of the Castle Sinclair there in Girnigoe Thank You Dave.🇬🇧👋🇬🇧

Thank you for the lovely coastal walk. I would have been on the other side of that stone wall though. My balance is off and I know I probably would have gone flying off the cliff. I played bagpipes in me head while watching your silent movie along with a few gull calls. 😉😉
It used to be open to go inside but it has since been closed due to falling rocks. I am so pleased I went there when we first moved up to the Scottish Highlands and could get inside as it was open then. It’s amazing to see from inside, looking out as once those who lived there did! Pretty cool x
So random this pops up when Iv just uploaded a video with Castle Sinclair Girnigoe! We are lucky enough to live not all that far. It’s a very special place that’s for sure. Great video

Those paths all around with steep drops into a raging sea - all I could think of was my boys at their 10-11 ages 'having fun' here if we had ever visited this place when they were young - omg so dangerous ! I bet the local parents tell their kids to stay away from here, and I couldn't help wondering how many kids had fallen into the sea here ! Boys are so reckless !
35:40 I'm always struck by how hardy our ancestors were. Not only did they seem to prefer to build in such exposed locations, yet hardly ever bothered with luxuries such as windows or roofs.
