The green V-registered SD1 is a V8-S with the gold alloys. It was the only SD1 to feature all black bumpers and headlamp wipers. Lovely car.

Excellent! Good to see such a strong turn out for the FE Victor and Ventora - that Ventora estate was an absolute beauty!

They aren't necessarily the most well known 1960s and 1970s classics, but I was certainly pleased to see them!

My Dad had a late 1960s Bedford HA van which he really rated highly.
I think that the Vauxhall FE and Ventoras were nice cars and I am sure they were more popular than they seemed.
My Father's friend had a 2 litre FD Victor which he described as torque monster accelerating up hills in top gear that Hillman Minxs, Austin Cambridges and Cortinas really struggled up in third.
The Wartburg Knight looked very unique and a local lady drove one well into the 1980s before buying a used Nissan Micra.

Sir, I would like to try an FE Victor if at all possible, I do know someone who has one... The FD Victor is a really iconic car if you like the old ITC shows from the 1960 and 1970s.

That black Focus looked like an MP3 special edition... certainly had the mesh grille and correct wheels.

Yes, definitely MP3 wheels! Thank you again for watching, sir.

It's Honour Green.Standard Zetec but with MP3 wheels and an ST170 lower grill. The late model Zetec had the option of MP3 wheels, I just fitted them as I prefer them to original 15's

Did the first Astra GTE you looked at have a Mark 3 Astra Dashboard, i really liked the Mark 1 Focus, the wheels are called MP3 alloys and was availble on the Focus MP3 Model but back in the day these alloys were quite sought after to put on lesser Focus'.
The MPI Discovery I beleive is a T Series Engine.
I liked the look of the Lister XJS with the Biscuit interior for me the wheels really set the car off.
    Another enjoyable Shuffle Sir.

I think both the Astra Mark IIs had the same dashboard, but by this stage I had filmed eleven parts, so I can't specifically remember without watching it. Oh yes, the Focus MP3!

You arrived at the Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club stand and had little to say as there was no information displayed - our fault. We will rectify the situation next year. Armstrong Siddeley stopped making cars in 1960 because the accountants said they were making very little profit from hand building cars, but they carried on making profitable aircraft engines.

People keep telling me that I know everything about cars. Whilst it is a very kind thing to say, it really isn't true. My pre-1960 knowledge is absolutely appalling, so makes like Lea-Francis, Lanchester, Armstrong Siddeley and Allard are completely alien to me, sadly. It is a shame, since the Armstrong Siddeleys do seem like beautiful cars, built to a very high standard. Sorry that you had to wade through eleven parts to met with complete and utter ignorance.
