This game came out in Japan literally a few months before the Great Konami Shitstorm of spring 2015 so they couldn't have known about the Kojima incidet. But that being said it SHOULD be pointed out that K-Sha mostly makes Metal Gear references and is 100% yandere for Playstation-tan Noire, which is absolutely hilarious in hindsight to where Kojima Productions IMMEDIATELY got picked up by. They totally called it. And also called Konami out as a bit of a creeper too.
So is there a part where Capcom girl promises to deliver good shit, and then doesn't, and says it's everyone else's fault? Or when the Bandai/Namco girl looks at the Cyberconnect2 girl and says "Your my bitch, do my dirty work for slops"
I think this series is pretty good. Don't understand the whole "If it's anime it's trash" mindset many comments have. It's not for everyone obviously, but if it looks good try it and then make an opinion.

Something about playing a RPG where kids investigate haunted and mystical locations of Twilight Town, whilst also having Valkyria Chronicles-esque beach cutscenes and areas would be amazing. Real shame they had to move off into Sora's storyline but I guess that was the whole point of that separation.

Everything is a reference to some other game or anime and that's the enjoyment you get out of these games but the gameplay itself is nothing outstanding. Its not bad, but it doesn't make you go "oh, that's cool". Like Liam said, This one is actually a step up from previous titles and I can honestly say it is the best in the series. I love the series for the concept because its genius and full of potential. They can practically make any kind of game with these characters and it would work. But it does have fan service and all that jazz which isn't for everyone although they toned it down for this one to a more tolerable amount.

I think in the later games Compile Heart and Idea Factory shifted their focus for the series from waifu fanservice bullshit onto making actually interesting stories and developed characters and I think Uzume reflects this. I loved how the main Neptunia games get progressively better. Besides using some of the same enemy assets, they made it better by adding voices to the monsters.
