this episode was a big tribute to back to the future 3 and i love it.
I love seeing Dean geek out over being a cowboy. Despite his macho/bad boy persona he is truly the biggest dork of the brothers

"I think you call him when you need something" Well yeah because that's the only time Cas will answer! I hate Rachel and her comment. A few episodes ago when they delt with Crowley Castiel stated that he wanted to spend more time with the bothers but couldn't, Cas also didn't visit or call Dean during the year off so Cas is the one who made their relationship more professional, even though Dean himself sated he would like to hang and talk with Cas not related to a hunt.
Dean gives Sam so much shit for being a 'nerd' but look at him when it's something he enjoys 😂

Dean's selective monster-bigotry is one of those supernatural plot lines i never liked.
But that's not the case here. They needed the Pheonix ashes to beat Eve. Dean himself didn't seem to argue with the Pheonix reason for killing but again they didn't have an option. Sam would've had to kill him to if the roles were reversed.
