I remember a scene in Peep Show where Mark and Jez are trying to decide on something and they're like "Okay, let's let God decide, yes if he's painting sky, no if he's painting Earth", and they turn the channel to Bob Ross. haha Anyway, great stuff, I oil paint but I'm about to start getting into acrylics more. Got the paint and canvas, hardest part is starting.

Your painting skills are second to none. Your work is amazing. Love the cosmic paintings at the end. Reminds me of the journeys my mind goes on when I listen to trance music. Trance sends you to places you didn’t think existed.

Question about painting related to your "cosmic windows" series. Is there such a thing as phosphorescent paint? Could you do paintings, like your "cosmic windows" series, with phosphorescent paint so that the stars and nebula would glow in the dark?

I love this video so much! I am a brand strategist/graphic designer but mostly do marketing and business work, I am not an “artist” per say, and honestly don’t have much experience dabbling in traditional art, but I love it and it’s been on my list of things to take up more in my “self-care” time. I’d love to see a series like this video, various casual painting how to and such. I bet there are a lot of folks out there just like me who could learn so much from you! Plus these brush sounds are amaaaazzzzing!

Bob Ross paints are acrylic, not oil. What the fuck are you doing with a paper towel? Strokes up and down, left and right. You clearly have never watched a Bob Ross episode.
Aaaaand... you start with a detail brush then move to a fan brush for background. You are awful.
Bob Ross 100% painted with oil paint for his wet on wet technique. And You have misunderstood the intentions of this video . This is me making a painting with a Bob Ross painting kit ,that came with his oils , that was gifted to me from Hulu. This is not a Bob Ross follow along or copying a Bob Ross painting. I grew up watching Bob Ross and I still watch him , but I learned how to paint by going to school for fine art at Parsons and The School of Visual Arts so the techniques I’ll use are different from someone who just followed what they saw on his tv show .
