Perth Airport is Australia's 4th busiest airport but in my opinion, Australia's most interesting airport to plane spot at. Whilst Sydney and Melbourne collectively get about 2/3s of Australia's international traffic and heavies, Perth gets some exclusive and interesting traffic used primarily for the mining charter, or FIFO flights around the state of WA. Fokker aircraft and smaller dash-8s seem to be the aircraft of choice for the landing strips near the mining sites, meaning you'll see things like Skippers Aviation, Virgin Australia Regional, Alliance Airlines and even Qantas operating these aircraft exclusively in WA. You'll also see A320s in Qantas and Virgin colours which rarely visit the other side of the country, Qantas especially.
This video focuses on mostly runway 03 operations. Runway 03 is definitely a videographers friend, providing a great view of landings & takeoffs from the viewing area. In this video you'll see some mostly recent things filmed on my last visit to Perth, and also a few gems from past trips like the Qantas 747, Etihad A330, that are no longer flying!

I just noticed that 747-400ER of Qantas.... they usually operate their 738s, A332 or A333s.
This must be old footage. VH-OEF hasn't been in service since 2020.

You try san Francisco airport
You must change the name for National Jet Express - it's not Cobham anymore. They were bought by REX Airlines and joined the REX Group. REX purchased them 2023 and decided to re-brand to National Jet Express. The ''C' on the tails are not changed to the new livery as they are awaiting for the painting teams to get them in. I used to work at NJE and as a result of being bought by REX, my company's services were no longer required, However I know people still there and receive regular updates on the changes.
