Hello Amy, I couldn't even finish counting my WIPs /UFOs. 🙃 I think I know the market you are talking about. It's not local to me either but wll worth the drive. I look forward to seeing your "shop", how exciting. Good Luck.
I'm afraid I'm a very naughty girl! Across all my crafts I have too many WIPs to list here without feeling embarrassed. My oldest WIP would have to be my Lizard Ridge Blanket that I have knitted all the squares for, but not sewn them together or added the border. It was started in 2007 so has been on the go for 17 years! 😊
I am ashamed to admit that I recently came across a top I started making in the '80s which I kept to finish it then donate, as the fabric is lovely, and it's a useless waste otherwise. It will never fit me 🤣 My other UFOs include a wool jacket, two quilts, and an embroidered cushion. They are the ones that came to mind, but I'm pretty sure I will find more in my craft cave! How exciting for you to set up shop! It's just up the road from me, so I will make time to check it out. All the best with that 💜
OMG that is definitely a long term UFO! What a lovely find! I have honestly found several... Many... More unfinished projects since I made he video 😅😅😅 I'm terrible. That's so cool you live so close to the market, it's so lovely!!!
My wips aren’t too bad right now, and they’re all knitting at the moment. Socks, fingerless gloves, leg warmers, and a cardigan vest thing, well and I’m about to finish a test knit pullover, which I know I’ll finish because it’s a test so I have to lol I’ve got so many more to be made projects on my list, it’s never ending. I just got fabric to make my kiddo a backpack/shoulder bag. And I just inherited soooo many crafting supplies, mostly embroidery and sewing/quilting stuff so now I get to deep dive those for project ideas too 😁 Also, I appreciate that you’re wearing an adorable space cardigan for this UFO chat lol love it!
Yes you noticed my cardigan!!!! Thank you! 🤣 Honestly knitting is the reason I have so many crochet wipes, knitting has been so addictive so quickly is ridiculous so I totally get why you have so many. Your inherited craft supplies sound amazing and like a really exciting opportunity! I would love to see what you do with it all 😍
I have three button-up shirts and one t-shirt cut and ready to sew, I have just started cutting shorts. Two of the button-up shirts are long-sleeved and a heavier cotton so they will wait until autumn. The short sleeved shirt is set aside as candy for when I want to sew something that I know will be super cute. The t-shirt is waiting for me to re-learn how to thread my overlocker - any weekend now. The shorts are experimental but would be great to have soon. Cutting shirts in batches of at least two is the only way I can cope with all the damn pieces and not feel like I'm wasting time. Even though I don't cut them stacked, but still... production line helps me stay on track. Whee neurospicy. Super fun to see your ufos and wips. That mermaid is adorable.
Your completely right about the production line, except when I get too "in the zone" and forget to repeat steps for the second item... I love the idea of using a different project as candy to motivate yourself. I'm definitely going to try that this week!!!
The wips that come to mind are... A skirt, a corset, a vest, a crochet blanket, a knit scarf, a hexagon quilt, and a spinning project. Only 7! Some of these projects have been sitting around for over a year 😅
How many WIPs you ask? (Ahhhh - don't call me out like that, lol) OK - I think I have around 20, but this is over a range of different crafts (cloths sewing, knitting, crochet, spinning, embroidery, quilting). Although a couple of those are quick finishes (i.e. sewing on closures) and several are very long-term projects (a.k.a the two quilting projects that exist solely to use up my fabric scraps). I have around 8 wips that I'm working a little bit of one or the other of them daily, the others are having a break because I'm mad at them for some reason (or they aren't bringing me much joy). My oldest WIP is a linen shift that I started in 2021, working from instructions from Edwardian textbook. It ended up being much too small and I got brassed off with it - it actually wouldn't take much to adjust and finish but as I'm not wearing Edwardian costume it's gone on the back burner in favour of cloths I'm wearing day-to-day.
@@mollyn03 I put my bad wips in the naughty corner, they need to do better as to not displease me 🤣 the Edwardian Blouse sounds amazing, I'm wanting to make a full Edwardian costume this year... But we'll see

1 sock unicorn, 1 vest, 2 baby jumpsuits, 1 pair of pants, 1 tshirt… those are my wips…… and sooooooo many plans 😂
Oh the plans could be a 10 part movie series, honestly! Let alone the stash!!! 😜

Awe that's a lovely number of wips 😁
I actually only have 13 at the moment which doesn't feel like too many for me 😂 that's across knitting, cross stitch, sewing and quilting
@@Callyisthebomb wow that's actually so minimal!
