They can dance, sing, have stage presence, and although Wheein and Solar are not considered rappers, they have the potential to become one. This group is seriously underrated. Edit: ok so some of you were saying that mamamoo isn’t underrated. Yes they’re getting appreciated in Korea but they aren’t getting enough praise in the USA.
They sing well because they are incredibly talented singers and didn't really need to prove that they can dance because when they get older they will still be able to sing while other "visual" groups will fade away.

Whereas some groups go for complex choreography and lipsync for half the song. Sorry to say, but an artist has to find the balance, and I think Mamamoo is very conscious of that. You can't do five backflips in the air and hit a Whitney Houston high note. You'd run out of air and pass out.

For the HIP era, the one who's standing out has to be Wheein. Aside from her already given steady beautiful voice, she is really killing the choreography! Among the four of them, she executes the dance routine the cleanest and most precise. While the likes of Hwasa and Moonbyul have obvious different styles in dancing, Wheein is the most malleable in adapting to the choreography and it showed here. She dances to every little detail and makes sure she does them as sharp as possible. Don't get me wrong though! I'm a MooMoo but I really want to commend Wheein in this era! She's giving me the perfect vibe of HIP

For the HIP era, the one who's standing out has to be Wheein. Aside from her already given steady beautiful voice, she is really killing the choreography! Among the four of them, she executes the dance routine the cleanest and most precise. While the likes of Hwasa and Moonbyul have obvious different styles in dancing, Wheein is the most malleable in adapting to the choreography and it showed here. She dances to every little detail and makes sure she does them as sharp as possible. Don't get me wrong though! I'm a MooMoo but I really want to commend Wheein in this era! She's giving me the perfect vibe of HIP
