Some nice touches in the 2022. We have a 2021 1985. In this, I love the large euro double pane windows on sides of the bed area. We have a 2021 and the windows are smaller and don’t open as wide. We have a “brown tone” trailer with the Mystic Shores (2021 only) and it’s gorgeous. The one in this video is similar, but wood throughout is lighter here. Large window at dinette is also great! That’s cool that they put the microwave in the cabinet, but we chose the combo microwave/convection oven (installed in place of lower oven) in our 1985 (option) that resulted in our getting a cabinet over the stovetop. I would highly recommend that here. PJ does a great job of presenting.
Finally a trailer with a modern aesthetic of good quality. I would love more options other than airstream that have a more modern interior. I don’t want to travel inside a space that looks like somebody’s tacky house. I rather feel like I’m traveling- like in a yacht or a plane, with a more built-in modern look.
I absolutely love the euro style door! I’m not sure if I’ve seen it on an American trailer. I really like the euro style lexan windows too! I am starting to see those on a few other American trailers, but not many. I love how big they are, how they open for air and my all time fave, those screens and shades. I think they are the best ever and should be on all trailers, no more roller shades or min blinds. But that’s just my opinion.
Ordered a 2185 last July and received it March 2, 2022. Absolutely no blinds or shades unfinished around the windows and many other problems. And not much satisfaction from Lance
Like Lance trailers thanks for the walk thru. A few peaves why are the screens on the top and the shades on the bottom (that makes zero sense). Shades need to be above No compressor fridge option. Need more stove options - especially something smaller or induction. Wish they had no slide options in more sizes.
They were going to so another non slide. But they are having trouble just getting anything out. And when they do. They are missing items. And the blinds work better going up. I can leave them.down slightly and still get air without having to worry about anyone seeing my midsection.
I agree looked at the only one today but the sink is too small and the eyes on cooktop are so close together don't think I could cook two things. Don't want a slide because I don't want to have to have upkeep for it. Beautiful and well built trailer!!
Hving solid walls at least 6.6"+ min height then u can still pop up for more airflow & extra sleeping/ storage or bedding & this trailer is near tier 2 God perfect. I would make tank-less an extra option but still include the tank heater too. So u hve 2 ways to heat water for back to back & quick heating.
Would like the blue toned theme if I were to buy this trailer... Like the host... But I suggest a drinking game.. every time she says "Alright" take a shot.. You'd be totally blitzed by the end of any of these videos..!!!
Great walk thru! It's sad to see the quality decline since last year. No more dovetail on drawers. One has to wonder what else has been cheapened? Not a fan of the new interiors, as they look cheapened as well. Very sad to see...
Look at the 2020 and 2021 model 2075. They have dropped many of the features that made that model stellar. Look at the cheep fan in the bathroom on this particular model. Look at the plank verses panel doors in the bathroom.
@@crazycritterlady8788 6 to 8 months out on the blinds as well. So thus particular model is missing 4. So for 8 months min you will have to come up with an alternative window covering. 4 units at my local dealer are missing blinds. Used with an extended warranty may be your best bet.
@@southlakeowendrive Probably more true than not. I just got the table base replaced under warranty. Had to go back to the dealer today to get the broken one to harvest parts that were missing on the new one.
I do not like the new windows and door screens. They are not very pet friendly. They will be very hard to replace when the dogs rip them. Yes, in my 2020, we have replaced many screens.
All sounds really great until you shell out $50,000+ and realize you just got ripped off royally. Yes I just took delivery of a brand new Lance 1985 and have been working on it relentlessly for over a week and still think its not ready to be camped in. Good luck people.
@@MrBooricua A lot has changed from 2021's to 2022's. Make sure you see a 2022 before you consider purchasing one. Lance is now MUCH more like a Forest River product IMO. Don't let the CNC cut pieces fool you, they still need to be put together by human hands. Apparently unskilled human hands. Everything is off big time. They even missed some of the frame mounting holes where the floor bolts to the frame. They also have adopted some new "safety"rules. No more running the fridge during travel because of fire danger, its not in any literature but that's what they will tell you when you complain that the fridge keeps blowing out during travel. I inspected their fridge installation and they failed in almost every detail. I believe workmanship is why the fridge won't stay lit during travel. Lots more to say but I've run out of time. Good luck!
Lance trailers have gone down in quality since being bought out by REV. For example, the drawer joints are no longer dovetailed. Interior materials and finishing have also gone down. So sad.
my 2022 lance 1985 has dovetailed joints on the drawers. I love the interior finish on mine, feels and looks way better than cheaper trailers. No Gaps, Clean.
@@jasonwilson1134 I just looked at a brand new 2022 1985 it had all the blinds, some others in stock do not . I am sure is the logistical issues. no dove tail drawers. that would be nice
Apparently the delivery drivers (i.e. mexicans) don't have brakes in their tow vehicles. They just crank up the brake controller and wreck your camper brakes. But hey, they got it delivered right?
Please start showing the interior with the slide in. If I can't walk through the camper with the slide retracted, that's a deal breaker.
yes you can. I weight about 230 lbs. and walk right thru with the slide closed
FANTASTIC unit! and great video. As someone that boondocks I’m happy to see a propane fridge on a high quality unit.

Hi how you doing.
Overall a nice layout. I think I would have preferred they kept the range hood over the stove with the outside vent that they used on previous years.

Three more words for you (installed by Mexicans).
You do such a great professional presentation...love your channel...
yes everyone else should have that disposition. This video pushed me to go there from SAT
Another great thorough walk thru. Keep up the great work.
What an excellent walkthru! She's terrific. I can see an issue with the screen and dogs going right thru tho.
Awesome review. I'm trying to decide on a 1985 or 1995. Thanks for sharing!

Always extra ground height & sturdy framing corner steel & diamond guard but most of all grease fitting hubs.
Does it have a hood fan - stove area (2022 lance 1985 edition)
beautiful, beautiful trailer. 😊
Hello how are you doing
P.J. is great!
I like the jackknife sofa best one I seen
Hope to pick mine up soon....looking for an awesome purchasing equipment and customer support.....
Where does the coffeepot plug in???
Is this trailer good for South Florida weather?
Yep!
What is the shock absorber package?
Is the bathroom accessible with the slide in?
Hi Jeanette how you doing.
Yes, but don't be to heavy or you won't be able to squeeze through.
All campers should be shown with slide in.
Happy Easter PJ

Lance is a quality product. Do you ever do a demo on another brand and think it is not made well at all?
lance used to be. But since REV bought them out. Quality and QC has been suffering.
Connecting to a hydrant??

Thanks Boon for the info, don't want to pay inflated price and get less quality than in previous models, maybe I'll check out last year's instead.

and the chairs can be carried outside.
Ridiculous that Lance is sending out units incomplete. Missing blind on camp side. What else is missing.
Some of the bolts that hold the body to the frame. But no big deal you won't keep it very long, just don't tell the next prospective buyer.

a Murphy bed would have made more sense.
I was 6th comment showing so 7th.
Every 1 says the new 12volt refrigerators r the greatest so make them standard.
