Tbh, jeep could cut the price by 10k and you could give me 10k to buy a jeep, but I still won’t buy a jeep since there’s always something better (and safer) than a jeep 😪
I feel like I got Lexus ES when I got my 25 Camry SE AWD. $36k all in with almost every accessory available and PPF. The dealer was asking 42k at first. Got it August 4. 5400 miles so far, what a car!
Be sure to do the break in oil change at 500 miles or 3 months. There’s a lot of wear metal in the oil on a new engine. That will help it last much longer.
Thanks man, these vids are great. Looking for a cheap used car for my son, and after watching several of your vids, I’m leaning in the Camry LE, it brand new of course :)
it never cost that low even in 2007, maybe used, but not new. The 2017 Toyota Camry had a starting MSRP of $24,314 when new. The base price for the 2017 model is approximately $23,070.
It's been the answer for a do-all car for some time, right under Toyota's nose. If I recall, there were two original/older Camry wagons, the late 80s and mid 90s gens, the latter of which had a "different" reverse-swept D pillar, a style that didn't endear itself with customers or media at the time, but in hindsight that distinctive design and its quite effective dual wipers in back (most modern SUVs could benefit from for much better coverage) seem quite charming. It also didn't help that Toyota didn't sell it in its otherwise extremely popular top luxe XLEV6 or SE sedan trims, so it was seen as just a basic suburban grocery getter.
Kirk I would love to be a fly on the wall watching someone walking into a Porsche dealer wanting to wheel and deal on the price. 😂. Also outside of the hemi V8 I think the Jeep V6 is an ok engine. They have been making it forever and pretty much have all the kinks worked out.
I currently own a LC, 4R and a Tundra... I totally agree about the Armada (Patrol) being a better option than the new 4R (I would argue the new LC as well, and the V6 Frontier well before a Tacoma).
I'm just trying to get a feel for the market, so this is helpful. Would love to hear more about the new Explorer if you're able to drive that. Particularly the ST trim. 5.2 second 0-60 in such a practical vehicle that can be had for under 60k is interesting...
Well done. Lots of good points. And thank you for being honest about nissan. Nissan has some reliable good vehicles, at a good cost. People over look that because theu think all of them habe a CVT. They dont. While toyota keeps blowing up the v6 turbo tundra, nissan has been making 6 cylinder turbos sonce the 1980s and done them very well. That armada is a highlander killer. And if the titan was still out. That same motor would habe went into the titan. The titan would have been the better buy amd more reliable than the new tundra. Huge miss by nissan. I get it. Only north America had the titan. Nissan needs a better marketing team
Buy a Nissan Frontier is my recommendation even if you're not really into trucks I don't think you can go wrong with it. The Camry is a bargain but they just sit way too low for me, I'm 6'2 & don't like falling down into a car seat & struggling to get back up out of it so I would prefer something that sits higher so I would buy a Frontier & put a topper on the bed of it.
The reason that there are any 2024's still on the new car lots is that they were overpriced to begin with... i even know of a top level RAM 1500, 2023 model on a new car lot being sold as used for $60K... its come with the dealer installed Lot-Rot option @ no x-tra charge...
Kirk, I am to see such deep discounts on the Camry LE. If Americans don't appreciate the LE, Toyota should start shipping them up here where we understand that LEss is more. 🤑🤑
I went to Toyota today and the lot was sort of empty. Only 2 Camrys outside with tons of add ons. Top trim 46k !!! What the hell is going on ?! Mostly trucks on the lot a few EVS, crowns, Prius, Corolla … but lot mostly empty with everything being maxed in price.
Why is Alfa Romeo always excluded from all of these lists?? Maserati? I saw the 2026 Tonale at the LA Auto show. I liked it. I would never buy a plug in hybrid period . But I'd take an ICE version. I had a 350Z I bought brand new for 28K. Now that same car is what? 60K? It's the same damn car.
The data is proof that the lower supply number is intentional with Toyota in oppose to an actual production issue. Keeping it as low as possible is their strategy. No more widespread distributions. They just choose not to produce more to retain low incentives and higher prices.
Dumbest comment I’ve ever seen nothing about this data suggests that. Toyota is having record sales and you think they’re intentionally trying to sell less cars 😂😂
I don't know how you can say the Odyssey is the best minivan and the Mazda has a timeless design. Have you seen or driven the Pacifica Select, Limited or Pinnacle?
@StephenAgnetaThe northeast corridor is one of richest regions in the United States. Massachusetts has high incomes but also high taxes and high costs. Excellent standard of living, but there are costs for that.
This new Toyota Camry is outselling every other car in its class. It reminded me when I bought the very first generation Toyota Camry back in the 1980s. My 1984 Toyota Camry was ahead of every other car in its class by one generation. Toyota is the King of Midsize Family sedans since 1983 and counting. . .
Kirk please make these types of video shorter!! Most of us don't have that kind of time to watch long videos. Hopefully you can get them down to 25mins. Thanks
I swear every time you get to do a video on other cars someone comes in complaining about the brand they have probably NEVER driven and never will. Feels like they want everyone to drive the same cookie cutter boring Toyota Corolla and be as soulless as themselves.
$25,000 for a Wrangler that’s cheap! And like you said, you could fix that up. There’s plenty of money left over to fix it up if you’re saving that much.
Ive seen the Z start around 43k. I personally love all the generations of of the Z. I am butt hurt they now have the nismo in auto only though. I plan to buy one in the next couple years. I have too many toys atm. I may buy a used one to be honest
I test drove an XSE in the spring and was taken aback with how cheap it felt. The first thing I noticed when I got in and closed the door…it reminded me of my ‘88 Corolla. When I got out of the car and closed the door the door skin visibly wobbled! The driving experience was less than stellar. The Accord drives way better. The standout characteristic of the Camry is the mpg. Reports say owners constantly in the 50s. Why buy a Prius? The Camry is way more car for less $$
Kirk, I’m a 60-year-old, recently retired man who purchased a 2025 Camry LE with the cold-weather and convenience package as my first-ever new car. I love it except for one thing: after driving for two hours, the seat feels like I’m sitting on a boulder. I’m having a bit of buyer’s remorse. I have muscle and neurological problems. When I did my test driving, the seats were great, but I drive from New Jersey to Florida a few times a year to visit my brother. Ouch! I’ve purchased eight different types of cushions, but they don’t work. I would gladly pay to have the driver’s seat removed and replaced with a luxury one, but all I run into when searching the internet is seat cushion/skin replacement. That wouldn’t help. Is there any place you know of that would actually replace the seat with another one?
We finally got a car yesterday-a 2025 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid with 17K miles. The listed price was $24,390, and the final price ended up at $28K. I’m wondering if that’s a good deal, considering I live in the Bay Area, California.
Just remember that it was the Reagan/Bush administration that pushed for the original NAFTA agreement and the Chinese most favored trading nation status, and that the Republican leadership pushed these items through Congress.
eCVT ≠ CVT, No belts pulleys or belts to break, just an ICE engine, a pair of electric Motors and a planetary gearset, no transmission shift solenoids or torque converters, mechanically simpler and more reliable. But yes a traditional auto will be more engaging to drive. Wont be as smooth or potentially drone like a CVT.
I disagree, the best time will probably in a year, when Toyota updates it with Arene. At least I hope so, cause I really want to buy it, but refuse to do so with outdated infotainment.
@GrzegorzMikos That would be great, but when I researched that possibility about a month ago, it seemed for the new Camry that might take longer. But I also love to see that happen ASAP.
I have a silver Camry XLE. And I have a 2026 Tesla model Y. I will never buy a Camry again or any other car that is not a Tesla. People do not realize how superior the Tesla model Y is. FSD is mind blowing.
That’s because nobody wants to pay $75,000 for a damn jeep!😂
I wouldn't even pay 20k for one tbh
You really do get a lot of car for the money with the discounted Camry, CX-5 and Pathfinder.
Tbh, jeep could cut the price by 10k and you could give me 10k to buy a jeep, but I still won’t buy a jeep since there’s always something better (and safer) than a jeep 😪
Camry discussed at 38:00 and after
Thank you
GOATED
If the Camry was a sport wagon, I’d buy one. The Camry looks so good, but in a Wagon style it’d be amazing.
I know just add a hatch like accord or model S and keep everything else
Agree. Basically what the Signia is, effectively - overall length only an inch different - but more $$.
Might cut into RAV4 sales. That's why we don't get the Corolla touring.
@CAlAlbertokay than an accord sport is a CRV 😂
@CAlAlbert WAGON. WAGON. Not Compact SUV, WAGON.
The problem is that once it's over... you owe on a Jeep Wrangler.
Why has Honda forsaken Acura? Remember the Legend.☹
Cx-5 is awesome, 9 years on my 105k miles, great reliability and low cost to own.
I feel like I got Lexus ES when I got my 25 Camry SE AWD. $36k all in with almost every accessory available and PPF. The dealer was asking 42k at first. Got it August 4. 5400 miles so far, what a car!
I’d take a Nissan Z over the new prelude any day of the week!
I bought mine in thanksgiving and got a great deal on it
😂 Kirk putting the nail in coffin for the Cherokee Hornet Malibu
I love your passion for this stuff 😊
Thank you! Amazing video
Got my camry LE on ocean gem last week. Getting 60MPG
Bravo!
How much did you pay OTD?
Be sure to do the break in oil change at 500 miles or 3 months. There’s a lot of wear metal in the oil on a new engine. That will help it last much longer.
$30,494 otd
@theheavenlyfire $29,200.
Bought a 2026 Camry LE for $29k OTD in So Cal on Black Friday
Same but in the NE
@cwfutureboy What was the cost of the car without TTL?
@marcinmerrimack1726Basically right at $29k
I got around $4600 off MSRP. MSRP was $30,973 and I paid $26,382 before taxes and fees
Wtf here in cali it’s 36k OTD
Great vid
i hear really good things about that camry, top sell for reason .
Thanks man, these vids are great. Looking for a cheap used car for my son, and after watching several of your vids, I’m leaning in the Camry LE, it brand new of course :)
I bought a base model Camry off the lot in 2017 for 19k what time to be alive 😭
it never cost that low even in 2007, maybe used, but not new. The 2017 Toyota Camry had a starting MSRP of $24,314 when new. The base price for the 2017 model is approximately $23,070.
@teddybear5429yes, and back then there were so many on the lot. You could negotiate them down. My father got a 2017 SE for 20k flat.
Crazy the Z isn’t more popular considering the other options. Love that is old school and powerful.
V6 sportwagon AWD Camry is what we all need.
4000 people will buy those
V6 on a sedan became niche 5 years ago.
They had one called the Venza and it didn't sell well.
No, best time was 2019. They were 10k cheaper and still had 10k rebates/discounts
Remember new Highlander Hybrids had 8k off signs. Crazy good deals back then!
That is never coming back. Get with the times and move on.
@bre@brenttitus2134it says best time ever, which if we’re judging on price… is factually incorrect. Get with reading comprehension and move on.
@brenttitus2134 Dumbass
@sethgunn8256You babbling baboon had no understanding of what I said. Don’t talk reading comprehension. 🙄
I got picked up by an Uber driver in a brand new Kia Niro, and that thing was nice. I couldn’t believe it!
The GX 550’s have style, but the LC250 has style, personality and soul
The Ford Escape Phev at 25k is an amazing deal!
I see cars couldn’t get a picture of current cars on the lot ,they dug up Chevrolet Cruze from 2019
Kirk I would love to be a fly on the wall watching someone walking into a Porsche dealer wanting to wheel and deal on the price.
The GX550 is the SUV version of Ghost from COD👻
I love Kirk and his content!
Thanks 😊
I just reserved my 26 camry le. I got $2,850 off the MSRP.
I think january gotta go down a few percentage points because it did not snow until late January, pushing the start of winter into February.
GV60…afflicted with ICCU problems!
I'm just trying to get a feel for the market, so this is helpful. Would love to hear more about the new Explorer if you're able to drive that. Particularly the ST trim. 5.2 second 0-60 in such a practical vehicle that can be had for under 60k is interesting...
A lot of Stellantis products on that leftover list.
Well done. Lots of good points. And thank you for being honest about nissan. Nissan has some reliable good vehicles, at a good cost. People over look that because theu think all of them habe a CVT. I saw the Z for 46K new on 53k MSRP
No leftovers in Europe. Be prepared waiting 5 months to get one
Got the grand highlander instead
Kirk always pronounces Lincoln like "lankin"
It's Nebraska talk. Our capital is Lincoln and that's how we say it lol
Hey Kirk great comprehensive review. Any thoughts on a ram big horn with the hurricane i6. Happy holidays to you too
The reason that there are any 2024's still on the new car lots is that they were overpriced to begin with... i even know of a top level RAM 1500, 2023 model on a new car lot being sold as used for $60K... its come with the dealer installed Lot-Rot option @ no x-tra charge...
The Hyundai‘s probably got much nicer interior and features than the Ford escape.
Jeep Cherokee is worth half of $64,000. No more. These inflated prices are just dumb.
Sent it to Europe!!! We have no cars like the Camry or Accord
I got my 25 Le AWD for 29 in September....
👍👍
I wonder if I could get a better deal on a '24 Mx-5 now.
I dont get carmakers introducing new models and then not able to have enough supply to go around.
It’s intentional
Problem with Porsche because it has very high interest rates.
Kirk, I am to see such deep discounts on the Camry LE. If Americans don't appreciate the LE, Toyota should start shipping them up here where we understand that LEss is more. 🤑🤑
Class action corrosion lawsuit. No time is good.
Volvo only sells SUV's now? What a sad world we live in. Can't have cool cars anymore smh
Don’t buy a car for another year let these dealerships beg
Have you done a video on the tax interest on American cars? Looking for a new car for my son.
ACAMRY SUV AWD HYBRID WOULD BE NICE
That would be the 2026 rav4
Deciding: Any comments appreciated. 2025 CX5 and Camry LE. I’m single with a dog.
Cx5 if you need the space
I went to Toyota today and the lot was sort of empty. Only 2 Camrys outside with tons of add ons. Top trim 46k !!! What the hell is going on ?! Mostly trucks on the lot a few EVS, crowns, Prius, Corolla … but lot mostly empty with everything being maxed in price.

Did he say that the Elantra gets 60 mpg 😮
The data is proof that the lower supply number is intentional with Toyota in oppose to an actual production issue. Keeping it as low as possible is their strategy. No more widespread distributions. They just choose not to produce more to retain low incentives and higher prices.
This is almost as disgusting as a new subscription-based car features!
Buy cheaper, or even better, used. They'll come around when sales are lower than expected.
Dumbest comment I’ve ever seen nothing about this data suggests that. Toyota is having record sales and you think they’re intentionally trying to sell less cars 😂😂
Any Altima news or it’s the end of the world indefinitely for it?
I don't know how you can say the Odyssey is the best minivan and the Mazda has a timeless design. Have you seen or driven the Pacifica Select, Limited or Pinnacle?
Kirk man Jeeps Wranglers are so not reliable. Smh
Ahah😂 stay away from PHEV
how's the steering feedback & handling of a Camry??
Any news on 26 Accord? Also which would you lean towards a camry xse (no premium or premium plus) or an accord sport-l?
I just got an otd 2026 Camry LE for 29k including 6% tax. Make sure to shop around
How the hell are people getting these deals
@philspaseo2377shop out of state, call at least 20 dealerships
With convenience or winter package?
@z32luvrno packages, bare bones
2026 Camry LE for 25k-27k in southern California doesn’t exist.
does anyone know what website he uses to view the car deals and compare them?
I6 Camry!?
12:14 wouldn't touch single vehicle from this list unless sold new for $5k 😂
in Boston, the price is so high, Camry 30K, Pathfinder is 40K!!!
Bonkers
I hit the same issue. Why is that?
@StephenAgnetaThe northeast corridor is one of richest regions in the United States. Massachusetts has high incomes but also high taxes and high costs. Excellent standard of living, but there are costs for that.
@jebbrown5961thank you
Any hybrid or electric “car” is no good, I’m an American, the more gasoline the better!
Which web site Use Kirk to find this offers?
There’s no way this video needs to last 44 minutes.
100%
Jesus Christ thanks for the heads up 😂 these freaking RUclipsrs are too much
He down care about consumers. He just tryna make as much money as he can. This video alone is horrible for the consumer.
It's nobody else's fault for your lack of patience
@Alacritynessyou can't type or spell...or you're drunk.... down???
There’s quite a few leftover 25 Nissan Z’s near me for $36k.
They are shit
Why would u be pushing a car thats needs subscription services down the road?
I’m considering the Corolla hybrid LE vs Camry LE. Is the slight price bump worth it? First car, and it’s just me myself and I.
bump up to the camry tbh. Way more space and a better drive
This new Toyota Camry is outselling every other car in its class. It reminded me when I bought the very first generation Toyota Camry back in the 1980s. My 1984 Toyota Camry was ahead of every other car in its class by one generation. Toyota is the King of Midsize Family sedans since 1983 and counting. . .
If it’s free it’s not worth it
Kirk please make these types of video shorter!!

The best time to buy a Camry is after they discontinue charging you money for subscription services such as heated seats....
I got this exact car and the seats work normally. I don’t have any of the subscriptions.
@markm0000video currently going viral. Review of the car and the list of subs adding up to $600 a year.
Waiting on GR Camry.... 🕜
I'm a LIFE long owner of TOYOTAs......JUST GOT MY FIRST TESLA MODEL Y! FSD ...AMAZING!
I test drove a Camry this week. i wasn't impressed.
which one did you test drive, the LE, SE, XLE, or XSE?
I test drove an XSE in the spring and was taken aback with how cheap it felt. The first thing I noticed when I got in and closed the door…it reminded me of my ‘88 Corolla. When I got out of the car and closed the door the door skin visibly wobbled! The driving experience was less than stellar. The Accord drives way better. The standout characteristic of the Camry is the mpg. Reports say owners constantly in the 50s. Why buy a Prius? The Camry is way more car for less $$
@kendallhughes7507xse
Worst time to buy a car is now!!!
The best time to buy is when you need a car (not just want a new car).
Kirk, I’m a 60-year-old, recently retired man who purchased a 2025 Camry LE with the cold-weather and convenience package as my first-ever new car. What a pity a Democrat President signed NAFTA into law.
Id buy a Camry if it didn't have a CVT, so going to get a Mazda Saturday
eCVT ≠ CVT, No belts pulleys or belts to break, just an ICE engine, a pair of electric Motors and a planetary gearset, no transmission shift solenoids or torque converters, mechanically simpler and more reliable.
Camry will get Arene at least in 2028.
@T@Toyofana Corolla got new multimedia system in 2022, while full facelift still happened in 2023. I believe in Arene in MY2027
@GrzegorzMikos That would be great, but when I researched that possibility about a month ago, it seemed for the new Camry that might take longer. But I also love to see that happen ASAP.
I have a silver Camry XLE. And I have a 2026 Tesla model Y. I will never buy a Camry again or any other car that is not a Tesla. People do not realize how superior the Tesla model Y is. FSD is mind blowing.
omg i know SO MANY women who have wranglers. why do women love wranglers so much?!
Still way too expensive and not reliable 😂😂😂
What’s not reliable?
NO AND NEVER!!!😂😂😂
