I watched it some minutes or hours ago but it dawned on me now and decided to ask: "I've always wondered why our boys/guys/men hardly get enough sleep. I can't keep count of those I have in my corner that don't get to sleep/rest for up to 5 hours a day, so even go 2 days without sleeping or much more. Maybe if I just know the "why" from a guy's perspective I'll be able to convince them better. Because ultimately this stress tells on us afterwards, and can't even be hidden. " Thank you
Well, from a guy’s perspective… Majority of them (Gen Z) are addicted to drugs one way or the other, peer group pressure, etc. And then again, if you are friendly with them and not the condemning type of person, you would be amazed at what they consume daily. Secondly, societal expectations/ factors also contribute to that fact that when you sleep to much you are lazy, you wouldn’t achieve more in life, so you have to hustle now and sleep later and so on. “Don’t sleep, wake up…. Collect your money!” 😂 Thirdly, the lies they told us then… that the wealthy or rich people only sleep 3/4 hours a day. That’s if you know what I mean. My observations though…
It can be a combination of things. People are different. But common factors are 1. Lack of exercise: since their body is not worked throughout the day, they dont feel physically tired to get enough sleep 2. Lack of sunlight: a lot of people dont get enough exposure to the sun. sunlight helps to regulate the body clock and thus secrete the necessary hormones needed for sleep at the appropriate time 3. Diet - eating to high carbohydrate diet affects quality of sleep, also eating heavy meals (which many do) - late at night affects sleep. many also dont eat enough nutritious food as they eat mostly junk food. The heaviest meal should be in the morning. If one desires to eat at night, it should be light, like a fruit so that the digestive system can rest when the body is resting. 4. Stress/high blood pressure 5. Too much screen time - staring at electronic devices late into the night affects the secretion of the sleep hormone. This is what i can think of for now...

I'm on several tables that Pastey broke 🥲🥲; I don't drink water as often as I should, I take soda (sugar generally) a lot, I used to work-out and I stopped, I sleep for like 5 hours daily, rarely take fruits. Ah God abeg!! Solid change will occur. I will do much better. Thank you Pastey!!!!
