@@synthzee I hope not, but at the same time I can see a near future where copycat hitting a random iron man at the bottom of an Arishem deck wins a million bubs in Deadpool's diner, and I don't like that.
A 3/5 statline with pure upside. Even if Copycat steals something useless for me, it can cripple my opponents gameplan. For example Hela or Living Tribunal. Also that spotlight variant is fire.
I'm glad SD evaluate and rework cards to improve the game. At the time I hated the Chavez change but it's opened up the design space for cards like this. Lookin forward to more cards like this and the new activate ability coming soon to spice things up

Copy cat is easily a must have, with prime stat, steal ability and worst case, even if it give you an unplayable ability, it still flgave you information of the opponent deck and also what card they will not be able to draw. Its a card that will help you decide to play aggressively (Snap!) or flee when they snap. If they keep this card as it is, i think this will be one of those prime card alongside with Nocturne, that will be slot in multiple decks.
Love that kind of cards!! Solid in many decks! Hybrid between Cable and Iron Lad and can counter all decks!! At least have important info... but again.. Arishem is there and Cassandra isn't released yet...Her days only gonna be better with time!! A must have card!!
I think an on draw meld with another card in your hand could be interesting. It would be a hulk buster you don’t have to play but would also add cost, or average the cost of the merged cards.
An effect somewhat like black cat could be a 4/4 that get +5 if you play it the turn you draw it "When you draw this: if you play it this turn get +5 power"

@lphipps1986 what if they keep the power and cost and show the opponent the card that was stolen might be another way to nerf it gives better counter play

As she stands now Copycat is an evergreen card that will always be relevant and because of her ability will always evolve with the game , easy grab.
A Reverse Iron Lad that also enjoys being in yhe surfer deck is certainly a temlting pick. May spend the tokens on it!

Kang rework: 5/4 On reveal and when drawn: add a copy of Kang EVERYWHERE. (On to the board, into your hand and your deck.)

Copycat seems like a great card, any time she's able to steal an ability from card that is 4 cost or more it becomes a seriously good.

@@nythcthulhu8570 I like that idea, maybe make it really cheap, then try to play it on lockjaw or use blink to get a round 2 with it.
I like to see on draw abilities as to what maybe a nico like where it different every time it's drawn from a pool of 5 or 6 could be interesting

Well their copycat is dead, but yours gets nothing. Similar if copycat is created by a random effect, her ability only triggers "on draw"
