I love the tip about saving *first* and then spending. All i can say about your uncle is: *Allahumma Barik!!* "But seek, with that (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion of legal enjoyment in this world, and do good as Allah has been good to you" Surah 28:77
Uncle Rehman. It's interesting how much we share our world view. I am 25 and not working atm. I have a vision and that can help with long term strategy to where I want to be which is to have financial freedom and work when I want in things I feel I am making a difference. May Allah have mercy on your wife and grant her Al firdaus without any reckoning. Ameen
Thank you for the video. MashaAllah some golden advices given by your uncle. His analogy is very good about life and being a pilot!. We all need to think of that way when we are faced by challenges that affect us to the mental core.
As Salamu Alaykum A slightly critical view, but your uncle did not seem critical of where he made his income from i.e. working for a bank. Please let me know if we should in this day care about where our income comes from. Does Allah swt really care, or if we live for legacy, pleasing others, etc. then we will be fine in the akhira?
