I've been watching you two for years, and I am still blown away with how well you both explain things. Definitely one of the best set of instructors in Bachata.
This was an awesome video, I saw this done out at a social recently, and wanted to learn it for myself. Having commentary on both leading and following it is very helpful!
Cool videos guys I think here in Madrid it is also called Twist but from my experience in Madrid they teach this steps moving vertically and you are doing horizontally. Maybe there two ways . Thanks a lot keep it up
You can do just a weight shift or, if you want to be "technical" you must step, but for social you can choose whichever works for you. I recommend learning to do all the steps because then is as simple as choosing just to weight shift.

We call it "tangito" in Paraguay
I was taught this step as the “Madrileña”
Nice to hear that :D We know that the same steps can have a lot of different names so it is interesting to hear variations :D
Marius & Elena Official I come here to practice after class! Thanks so much for your content
I'm from Portugal and also I know this step by Madrid Step
Yeap :D
I've heard it called simply "Diagonal".
thank you for sharing :)
@@milanradojevic8266 you still call it like this with the swivel?
Thank you!
You're welcome!
❤❤❤
The better point of view 😄 😬
What's going on at 6 with the feet? Is it just a change of the weight balance? there is no move, right?

Which song is that in the end of the video?
Follow along 6:55
The madrid step, can you do it with a follow that does not give much tension? She has a loose frame.
The Madrid step is not a beginners move. Good frame is a beginners technique. So, overall, a follower with loose frame won't be able to do it.
@@MariusElenaBachata agreed, thank you!
In France we call it the twist step
Ленааааа Привееетт =)
Helloo :)
Madrid Step is ok, but they call it in Spain "Base Madrid"
we call it "paso madrid" so "madrid step"
thank you :)
