People that love their sin, don’t wanna change and don’t realistically know who God is enough to try to comprehend what this man is actually saying.
My father terrorized our family. Abused my mother. I asked him about it. And he said he never did any of it. So i say. I can forgive him but i cant be around him. He refuse to repent. Im still praying about the trauma he caused me. He actually says he loved me. Hes a liar. Im not sorry. I repent to him. I dont owe him anything.

What than is the difference between forgiveness and remissions as some Bible in Acts 2.38 use forgiveness instead of remessions and thank yöu?

And then you brag about it on TV that God said as you spoke on a mic to give TD Jakes $1 million! If you truly forgive a person you can be around that person w/o thinking abt what they did. Help me Holy Ghost. I am trying.
I know. Best attitude is to try to understand why they did it, they knew no better just as much as you knew no better when you sinned, even for the nth time after hearing the word of God which is deeper than you can think.
I had a lady that was mad at me for unbroken boxes that did not directly concern me; she started kicking boxes at me and I shouted at her silly person. The Holy Spirit really held my tongue because I had a feeling of a mouthful. My Spirit cried, never felt anything like that.
A week later guided by the Spirit I told the lady gently and calmly you shouldn't have kicked those boxes and she agreed. I told her I forgave her and told her it was dust; she was surprised because ppl don't hear these things a lot.
She explained she was tired of breaking boxes, etc. Which I understood.
Christians have a duty to be the light to the world as commanded by Jesus. But don't be weary on this or be found yourself being guilt tripped or doing it to others.
Pray for these things and He the Lord will show you how to do it. It seems tough but its not because its not common to forgive.

Forgiveness isn't for the other person Forgiveness is for You how Can God forgive you and don't do what he says. God made it clear that we must love thy neighbor as we do ourselves. How can we love God if we don't love our neighborhood. You must put your pride aside and forgive your enemies anyway because those who do your adding more shame to your enemy. No. You8 are only obligated to forgive them. when they come around be holy, polite and cordial just as JC was to Judas. But you do not have to socialize.

I don't think we need to put chapter and text in these comments if we say something or share something from the Bible then we're hoping people will actually look it up and see where it is we're talking about? If I put chapter in text in the comment then that doesn't mean that that person would actually go and look and see where that is they would go oh that's where it is! For my learning purposes when a person is truly saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, bearing all the fruits of the spirit then can we forgive and trust this person that has wronged us by using our wisdom and discretionary choice? (I do not see God putting a person he does not trust into Heaven if he or she fulfills all the instructions to get into Heaven).

Why say to one who have hurt me i forgive you when he did not require forgiveness because he did not ask; would it not be best to forgive him in my heart?God only forgive those who ask; am i not called to be like him???
Because you are in a fallen state not God but you, you need to go forgive and not ask for forgiveness. The system of the world always say beg for forgiveness but that just Satan guilt tripping you and stuff. Usually its both of you wrong but talking it out does away and never to remember with intention to avenge. Start with small things, telling people you forgive them, don't worry about ppl's reactions. God will strengthen you in your journey. And practice to speak up truth but know that some stuff you know they never heard before. Imagine LGBTQ community, most of those guys never heard of God growing up. So its best to know them by asking questions and God will show you how as you pray for forgiveness, forgive and pray for wisdom.

@@justinmarcus5405 Because it is a commandment from Jesus and that's the only way God reveals Himself. If you don't forgive He will never untie you from your errors in heaven and on earth. Because God is Holy we do not need to forgive Him but he forgives us by us forgiving others.
In forgiveness you are doing away with condemnation of that person. You stopped short of Luke verse 4 and 5. Particularly verse 4 it becomes explicit that whether they might not say it (since they might not mean it when they say it) jump to the opportunity to forgive. Essentially, your faith among other things God grunts you are increased, I live testament to this fact as recent as this month at work.
What happens is that we close the door for Satan to guilt trip us or manipulate us to think/do malice to our brothers and sisters.
