Regieleki DESTROYS Ground Types

  • Regieleki is insane - it's the fastest Pokemon ever and has incredibly powerful electric type moves. However, it's usually completely useless against ground types. So I wanted to create a team that allows Regieleki to KO even ground types. This is the most fun I've had in the Crown Tundra DLC!

As much as how I want to appreciate the nickname "Ohm My God" I just can't ohm is the unit for resistance and Regieleki being what it is would be more suited for units of current or voltage. But then again Regieleki is being bound by something to keep its massive electrical power at bay so maybe Resistance after all is the right concept. So maybe Ohm My God is a brilliant nickname after all.

Great strat! Only thing I'd change up is that if maxing regieleki is your play, you should absolutely be running rising voltage over t-bolt. T-bolt turns into a 130 max lighting while r-voltage turns into 140. Then after your dynamax wears off, you're STILL throwing out 140 base power voltage because of electric terrain.

I love how Foo always comes up w/ interesting tricks & strategies for Pokemon. I'm surprised they haven't created a "Screen Saver" ability, that extends the duration moves like: Light Screen, Reflect, & Aurora Veil. So the user's side of the field would have 8 turns of screening, instead of just 5. Of course any Pokemon w/ this ability should be able to learn at least 2 of the current 3 "screen moves". And of course there should be a "Screen Set" ability, that automatically sets up a particular "screening move" when the user enters battle, but for only 3 turns (extended to 5 when holding "Light Clay" & then 8 when paired w/ "Screen Saver").

    • @Shuriport

    • @BlackSuperman2099

@@Shuriport Your argument makes no sense, because they've given Pokemon "broken" abilities before (e.g. Mega Rayquaza). Not to mention there's ways of overcoming virtually anything in Pokemon, it just requires a bit of cunning & strategy. You must not know about video games, because they usually put out patches to fix things. I'd love to see more of these. Imagine a move that adds steel type? Might be too overpowered. Or maybe a move that adds poison type (which is a good anti toxic move to use).
