Oh i love all your embossing folders. I need to get myself a machine like that. Its going on my christmas list!
You should! And wait for a sale but they are fun and there are different brands - maybe even find a used one

Thank you yes I know people sometimes don’t have the embossing folders but it’s fun to try different ways as well and be on the hunt for garage sales and thrift stores
You can totally use regular ink pads to emboss. Learning that trick was a game changer. I use colored ink pads and clear embossing powder - all the colors without the investment. The inks that stay wet longer are the best ones to use - powder sticks right to the ink.

I love die cutting, but it is a pain. I like to do a bunch at one time like you are doing. TFS
Oh yes same … I need to do a bunch because I won’t get up to do one at a time
In Photoshop there is the bevel/emboss tool. I could be wrong but I always assumed in real life embossed was the uppy side (like stamp embossing with the heat gun) and beveled was like the alphabet stamps that you hammered down.
