Even if he did I wouldn't be surprised, it's clear to me that Nintendo does not like sourcing franchises out to Western developers and when they do they are apprehensive and dismissive of the developers. It would make sense to why Nintendo sold developers like Rare to Microsoft despite them being as influential as they were to Nintendo products and that's probably why. If you look at DKC, DK64, Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Banjo And Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, all these games were becoming NINTENDO's image even though they were made by Rare and I have a feeling that Rare making TOO many good games is the reason for their demise in the end because Japanese companies don't want a Western company taking over their image and brand. It's honestly fucking pathetic how Nintendo can act. #FreeMelee
MCA Universal tried to have the series killed for Copyright Infringement when the King Kong character was in fact public domain. The courts dismissed the case and ordered MCA to pay damages to Nintendo and all those MCA tried to bully.
How can any gamer possibly have anything bad to say about DKC???? the graphics are great, the gameplay is fun, the music is legendary, and above all the game is challenging!!
Donkey Kong Country (1994) is one of the most greatest video games of all time due to it's groundbreaking and phenomenal gameplay, graphics, and levels as it was unique and inventive as it was something new and fresh in the platforming genre. It was decent. To this day I still play it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍

I absolutely loved Donkey Kong Country, but you guys really need to think of what they're saying out of a game designers perspective.. the enemies only have a very small set of mechanics(Basically theres ~3 enemies with different skins.), the point of the whole game is to collect bananas but it doesn't really give you any incentives to do so, the level design is basically copy-pasted with little to no thought about flow and pacing etc. That being said they managed with the most important aspect: Its fun! And thats really all a game has to be, which is one of the things many game designers these days forget in their quest for depth and complexity.
Peer Schneider sometimes doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to video game sometimes, the part where he was talking about donkey Kong country and collecting bananas, he says it does nothing but it gets you extra lives. It also him saying that's some of the donkey Kong games are overrated just showing he's an idiot.
