The point about having Akal Takhat offices in major global cities has been mooted over a decade ago. Its not true to say that the current Takhats are run by rehitvaan Gursikhs who have a pakka Amritvela. Apart from Damdama Sahib, on the whole the other Jathedhaars are puppets of the Government and sell outs.

I'm not a Sikh or Punjabi or Indian and don't live there. But using the world wide population of one organised interest group to determine the fate of an entire population of any single region does not seem equitable to those living there. If this referendum concept was applied to Scotland every Scot living in Scotland would have to live under choices of delusional unionists with Scots ancestry across the world choosing how we live and govern ourselves here. Some comfy conservative git in London Boston or Sydney who doesn't live permanently in Scotland should not get to impose their choices on Scots who do live here in Scotland.
