    Love seeing these. My 2nd Great Grandfather was a Grand Banks Schooner captain and I've always loved seeing them sail.

    Very much like the deck mounted camera work - looks great. What twine did you use for your rigging? Gary of Bearospace talks about "tarred twine" - did you find the product he mentions? Many thanks - Tom (from France)

      Thanks for that. Yes, the onboard cameras record some otherwise unobtainable views of the action.We get about 50 mins record time. I've found and used tarred twine as per Gary's specification but any thick black nylon cord does the job. I tend to prefer thinner rather than thicker. That tarred stuff is commonly known as "tarred bank line" Do a serach on it. size #18 to #21 I've used.
