I've never heard of Glardon Vallorbe files before...they look to be to the precision and quality of what I think of as being "Swiss" Thanks for sharing this collection of tools!

I have a few of the Bahco Screwdrivers. My uncle worked for Sandvik years ago and got them through them I also have a few of the plastic handle screwdrivers labeled Sandvik Belzer. Along with a few boxes of Sandvik files with Ergo grip handle

When you cut away to the shot where you try to remove the screw from your flatbed, I dunno why, but I just started laughing! Love the editing...

Vallorbe will ruin you. One high end file and you’ll go broke replacing every other file in your shop!
    Worth every penny.
    Thanks as always!

They just need to work with PBSwiss to make some really nice handles.

The measuring tape reading on the inside isn’t new but it is a little different for small tapes.
Tram measuring gauges for auto body repair actually use this same design for a long time.

On the tape measure you'll find a roman II which is the EU accuracy class. This is the common class for steel tapes. On a 2-m measure tape the max deviation is within 0.7 mm. A class I measure tape of 2-m should be within 0.3 mm. A class III wooden 2-m folding stick should be within 1.4 mm.

11:49 in Europe, wire gauges are expressed in the surface of the section in mm²
    (i.e. *not* the diameter)

I have that red Jokari stripper. Junk. I also have the new version of your Knipex stripper. Not impressed with that one either. The Knipex is very picky about which wire it will strip. I think it has more to do with the wire jacket coating but other strippers seem to handle them better.

Bahco ERGO series screwdrivers are usually excellent. The problem is that its quality varies greatly depending on its place of origin. Those manufactured in China or Argentina have very mediocre finishes, while those manufactured in Europe (Spain) are excellent, at the level of the best.
The Swedish manufacturer Bahco should not neglect the quality of its products so much when they are manufactured outside of Europe, but unfortunately it does.

I'm glad that the Bahco Ergo Bit-driver Handle can take the 13mm anvil Japanese bits. That's super important to me since I have an assortment of C6.3 E6.3 and JIS bits.
Also the Glardon Vallorbe file review is excellent. I don't know much about file manufacturers so that was super interesting. I rather spend the money on those vs. the Pferd brand.

    Another great review.
That's a cool tape measure concept. I would debate how well it will hold up.
The wrench idea is something I may get.
I hate round handles on screwdrivers (they roll off tables) and Snap On figured that out a long time ago. Get your hands on a Snap On ratchet screw driver.
Those wire strippers are interesting. I wonder how well they will hold up over time. However, I love my Reflex T-Stripper for Romex because it is fast and accurate and easily stores in tool belt.
I'd like to try Pferd X-Lock grinding and cutting discs.
Files are disposable to me. Use them and then make a knife out of them.

I'm definitely going to check out those Vallorbe files. I used to just buy Nicholas files but they're made in Brazil and India now and are the same price they used to be. Anyways I've been on the hunt for some different profiles and have been looking at German, Swiss, or Japanese sets since apparently there are no more USA made files. Thanks for the video.

Great video. I was curious about that Hazet tape measure. You didn’t show the mini Vallorbe set though. :(

Sorry, the video was getting quite long. I probably should make a video just comparing my files and showing what all is in those sets.

Are these two types both workshop files? Pferd offers precision files, which are the CORRADI and CORINOX branded ones. You can recognize it from the yellow mark at the end; have a look at the catalog.
I think Pferd produces in India today. I can't tell if the quality is still the same. Nice vid anyways.

Also the surface hardness of the files is hard to compare. 67,5 HRC is equivalent to 900 VICKERS
HV. Pferd claims the files have a hardness of 1200 HV.

These Files seems that they've been made by Watchmakers there...Wow really impressed ..!! Never heard about "Vallorbe". Here in my Country, the best you can get in the Market ,are "Matador" Files..Decent ones but not so Special...😕
