My daughter didn't like mashed potatoes when she was a child, but ate them as she got older. She wouldn't eat jello, either. She's in her 40's, and still won't touch jello.

@Gaby-giby If she brings him, she's supposed to keep him in the seat, but that sneaky little cuddle pulled him up to table so briefly. So funny to see her little act of defiance. Guin will be the one to watch as they get older. Anna has a tell, a specific look and you know it's coming, completely "in yo face!". Guin on the other hand just stays sweet, quickly commits the crime and goes back to pure innocence. Watching these two develop is better than all the time I spent in the required child development courses for my degree. They should be required watching.

Really? Guin was the one who tried the mashed potato...and is generally more open to try new things. She is just not as responsive to their mother promptings such as asking them what they do earlier prior to the filming etc. Anna always replies happily.
Try mixing corn in with mashed potatoes or make potato pancakes. I love watching them try new stuff. They are getting where they reject things before trying them. Anna is really a good eater now it used to be Gwyn.
My Mom used to make potato pancakes with leftover mashed, finely crumbled saltine crackers, an egg and some onion or garlic salt. Mix well. Put a spoonful in hot butter, mash into a patty and cook on each side until brown and crispy. We all liked them but seldom had leftover mashed,
The mashed potato thing is odd, but I do have a vague memory of liking smashed potatoes rather than mashed as a kid. Basically smash boil potatoes with a bit of butter, but not mashed into tradional mashed potato consistency...maybe they would go for that....
They were practically inhaling the broccoli today! I was focussed on Guin for a short while, then when I looked at Ana's plate all the pork was gone, poof, vanished 😂 I don't think I will ever work out why I find it so entertaining to watch 😊 Have a lovely day 🥰🤟⚘

I wonder if the girls would like tattie scones, you make them from mash potato that has gone cold with a knob of butter and then add some flour until you get a dough and roll out, you can either pan fry or bake in the oven then add a scraping of butter if done In the oven, you can add some grated cheese in the mix but I would try them plain first, we love them with a full English breakfast ❤

Months ago, you showed the brewers yeast cheese substitute so i tried for my mother to help with her nutrition. Gotta say, it works!

I wonder if the girls would like tattie scones, you make them from mash potato that has gone cold with a knob of butter and then add some flour until you get a dough and roll out, you can either pan fry or bake in the oven then add a scraping of butter if done In the oven, you can add some grated cheese in the mix but I would try them plain first, we love them with a full English breakfast ❤

Yeah, and a fist at that, not a slap! Then punching her fist into her own hand like the kid down the street used to do to threaten us that he was going to punch us. She had to see it in a movie.
