Oh God, she got me to laugh about IBS😂
Sometimes i laugh so hard that im suddenly glad i live in a small home🤣🤣🤣
Lol. This is the first time I've heard this part of the program. Glad to see there are more gems to find. 😅
This story is my life. Thanks for the good vibes. X
as usual, fantastic.
I missed seeing Sarah when she was last in New Zealand.
Lets hope she will come back.
I have diverticulosis, plus lord knows what else that always keeps me on the toilet(I haven’t been to the GI doctor yet to find out if I’ve inherited Crohn’s and/or IBS from my mother or if it’s something else) but at least there are clips like this to make me laugh about my rotting guts as I call them.
My doctor put me on 100% psyllium husk fiber and it's straightened out my IBS for the most part and has severely lowered my cholesterol which was 200 before and my bad cholesterol was 120 something and now it's only 47! I have diverticulosis also but When I just had my colonoscopy done he said they were very small and I think that's because I've been on the fiber for a year now
An oompah band in the loo for people with IBS would be hilarious 😂
I wouldn't want to be a musician in the band, though; hanging around the toilet all day! And how do you put a gig like that on your list of appearances??? 😅
@@carolmurphy7572 lol
Laughed so hard it caused tears to fall. 😂😂😂❤
I used to have the kind of IBS that went back and forth, but mostly D. Now I've switched to the opposite and I'm mostly C. I will say this though, at the end of the year, the year before last, my cholesterol was high and my doctor put me on 100% psyllium husk Fiber every other day and then when I had a colonoscopy my G.I. doctor put me on 100% psyllium husk fiber capsules every day, now my cholesterol is 20 points lower, my bad cholesterol is 1/3 of what it used to be! my sugar is regulated and I'm going regular now :-) my G.I. doctor said if you have IBS and take the 100% psyllium husk fiber capsules just five capsules a day it will get rid of your IBS symptoms. For the most part it has.
Looks like we're in the same boat. I take metformin which really seems to make it worse! Have you had any negative side effects from the capsules?
PSYLLIUM is inert so no side effects if you drink fluids too. It absorbs water to bulk up stool to make it pass easily, easing hemmhoroids too. RN here.
@@lunaticsanon nope. And I can't believe how much better my overall cholesterol is my bad cholesterol is my sugars are leveled out. I'm going more normal now. before the times I wouldn't be able to go for three for sometimes even five days! Now for the most part I go every other day sometimes several days in a row.. He did say to make sure I take the capsules in the morning so I can be drinking plenty of water all day long to help it. I was taking it at night because I didn't know that. Still drinking lots of water he told me to make sure I take the capsules in the morning so I can drink the water all day long. Four, 5 16.9 ounce bottles of water a day. That's odd, I have several relatives that are on MetForman and they say the longer you are on it the more problems with diarrhea
@@joywebster2678 exactly! That's why my G.I. doctor told me to make sure I take the capsules in the morning so I can drink plenty of water all day long to help move it through. He said to make sure I do 100% psyllium husk capsules. But it can even be the generic that's what I'm using
@@joywebster2678 for the most part, years ago I would go back and forth with my IBS. But when my cholesterol was high my doctor put me on cholesterol pills and they caused extreme extreme constipation and it caused me to have really bad hemorrhoids but I asked them, my dr. and the G.I. doctor if the hemorrhoids were bad enough to need surgery or anything and he said no. The fiber definitely helps with them that's for sure. I'm so so thankful for my regular practitioner putting me on fiber, I was doing Metamucil packets. and then the G.I. doctor to bump it up to capsules. i'm really just want to shout it from the rooftops lol how much it has helped everything! I know on the label it said it would help cholesterol and regulate your sugar but I really didn't believe it. And then I had my blood work done and then I had it done again and I am just floored! When I was on cholesterol pills it only went down three points overall got on the 100% psyllium husk fiber and it went down 17 points! Overall. My bad cholesterol was 120 something and now it's 47 within normal range!
I don’t give a “whoop” as often as I have to give an IBS induced “whoops!”
Thanks.
What about a whoop from those of us who suffer from IBS-A? We get the misery of both, and no medication can help. 😭
Totally true, every day the pain is demoralising and nothing can help except opiates which cause more problems
I feel bad for anyone with IBS. My sister has really suffered with it for years.
I've got type M. It's horrific.
You sure a whoop is the right noise?
@@Facetiously.Esoteric I think IBS-M (mixed) is another term for IBS-A (alternating). Is that right?
It's definitely awful having both. If it was just C or D, my doc could give me medicine to help. But the medicine for one just triggers the other, so we're stuck in this miserable hellscape with no relief. 😥
Sarah ,you`re a real English treasure :)
Whoop!
Had the D variant since my early 20's. It really is a pain in the arse. 🤣
Luckily it isn't so much of a problem for me these days. The BPH has taken over the role of nuisance medical condition. 🤣
Oh wow, new material, which show is this from?
WHOOP
I would love a tour with Sarah Millican, Bridget Everett, Fern Brady and Tina Fey.
I have crohns/ colitis...I know the feeling...lol
Hilarious
Had it. Stopped eating fruits, vegetables and grains. Don't have it anymore.
What we go through to manage IBS…gluten free, lactose free, FODMAP diet, and Align Probiotics and Iberogast.
🖤🤎
Eliminate wheat from your diet
**stares in "if it was that easy, don't you think we'd do it?"** 🙄
I haven't had wheat for months and it hasn't helped At All.
How you tell me you don't know what you are talking about without saying it...
@@rainydaylady6596 Yep. I've been gluten-free and Low FODMAP for about five years. Still have flares.
Don’t know til you try
