I got the SEL last summer and I absolutely love it. There’s only two things I’d say: 1. Safety warnings can be oversensitive and misfire sometimes, and I’ve completely turned off Lane Departure Warning because its ridiculously sensitive, and a huge headache unless you drive on perfect roads 24/7. 2. The car in the video is the max trim, so don’t expect the fancy nature sounds or turn signal digital cameras, as well as many other fancy digital features, unless you plan to pay a looot of money.
Here are the missing timestamps for this great video, for anyone who might find them useful: 5:08 #3 Ambient Interior Lighting 6:46 #4 Blue Light Filter 8:23 #5 Driver Attention Warning Cheers.
I ended up getting the limited just for the Bose and bigger screen. They will let you get the sunroof in the SEL plus, you just have to pay $1K Usd extra.
@@MDKN22 Yeah. It can be a bit over sensitive at times, but it’s annoyingly accurate 😂 It’s never turned on when I wasn’t distracted by looking my phone to change the song really fast, so I assume there are driver cameras that control this too.
The only ones I would really use are the ambient colors and the blue light filter. Unfortunately even tho this car has been out for 2 years now, the limited trim is still pricey at dealerships. I’m looking to get an SEL and I really really hope it has the ambient lighting
Just got the 2021 sport 19" rims standard on that trim but no bose speakers or Lcd gauge cluster :( ... still an amazing car tho fell in love the second i seen it
Congrats on your new car. I really like the way it looks. Im just worried about that 1.6t. I feel like when there's people in the car its going to feel severely under powered. How does it feel to you?
@@martboogie I like it. It’s not the N line which has more get up to it but it seems like it’s hesitant for a couple seconds then it goes and it’s pretty quick to me coming from a 2018 Hyundai Elantra sel. By the way I own the 21 Sonata SEL plus
Just bought a brand new limited and found out they were coming out with an nline edition that's gonna have the 2.5, the same motor in the genesis g80...🤦🏾♂️ Still happy with it tho. Love the panoramic roof and the feel and features. Almost feels like a Buick, very classy. One thing that disappointed me was the choice of Hyundai to not include fog lights on the top trim. That would've completely set it off. Ah, oh well. I have gotten several looks and compliments.
@@Del_Monico Yea I'm loving mine. Also, I found out the nline edition I was speaking of isn't even gonna be above the limited. It's gonna be between the limited and sel plus. So the limited still has more features so I am happy with my purchase 😍
If I was an AI programmer and had access to these new cars I would totally sneak in a random Easter egg in the driver attention assist. Something like a region or country lookup that integrates with sat nav, now and then it would look up places like coffee bars or pubs and keep a count on them. As you pass say 4 or five places like these it would pop up and say, for eg in Australia “Hey mate! You have passed three pubs in the last 100 Klm, do you need to stop at the next one?” 😂👍🏼
Looking for feedback on the stock stereo system in the Sonata. The SEL trim package I'm looking into doesn't come equipped with Bose audio so I'm curious as to what to expect for the stock system? I currently have the 2018 Elantra and the bass system in it isn't attractive in any way. Lol
Extremely inaccurate video. These “hidden features” are not available on the “Sonata”. They are available on the Sonata Limited. So if you own any other level Sonata don’t waste your time looking for these. Still a great car though
Best hidden feature in the 2022 Sonata N-Line (Korean build) is the police radar detection. That feature might be illegal in some districts but who cares.
There are some more hidden treasure features, this one is the most hidden: when car in front of you moved at the green light, it will notify you that the driver has moved the car on the screen, but if you don’t pay attention to the screen this feature is nothing.

I have the limited and in love! The only thing is the ambient lights goes only half of the car., not in the back seats
I said the same thing why did hyundai skimp on back seat
@@delroybloodworth6010 It’s kinda like you’re slumming it in the back.
I thought the same thing about our 2021 Limited. However, our Cadillac is the same way. No light strips in the back of it either.
I have the sel plus can u do this in the sel plus or only limited ??
At least they gave some. This is the only mid sized sedan in the segment that has ambient lighting.
I just got my fully loaded 2020 sonata yesterday and I'm in love!
🥰
do you get album art from your I POD??? I cant get it ???

We did too, just today and we ❤️ it!!! So nice!!
I did too on Friday and I’m in love!! 🥰
Wait until 2022 come it rear park itself, hot damn
The ambient light goes across the dash and across the driver and passenger doors. This is a nice, unexpected, feature.
Just got my SEL and frankly, I love it.
Such a great sedan! Congrats, Réne!🥳
How do you split the screen, looke maps on one side and radio on the other side??
Does the SEL Convenience come with Ambient Interior light with different color selection, or is this just in N and Limited trim?
just got the 2020 hyundai sonata sel plus - does this have ambient lighting? the option isnt there
Please, show us how to switch the speedometer with the tachometer!
Can you turn off the door handle sensors so you can only lock and unlock it with the smart key??
I’ve been trying to figure out how to change the color of the ambient lighting. Thank you!
Does The N Line Come With The Digital Key Card To Drive The Car ?
Idk about the NLine but pretty sure it does. We have a key card for our 2021 Limited but seems like they should give 2 just like on the fobs.
What model. Sel doesnt have park assist
have just gotten a 2020 Sonata .. so far, LOVE it. Thanks for pointing out some of the features. Some I knew, and some still to learn :)
How is the car so far any issue you still have the car ?

No, if I’m not mistaken it’s only found on the Limited!
